Hello people,

I've been looking into the depths of our server's logs, and I have noticed that our lags are accompanied by a sudden increase of connections to the server; I suspect this might be caused by some botter who does approx. 50 page calls at once (meaning, within a few hundred milliseconds).

I will have to rebuild some components of the server in order to make it cope with this kind of load peaks, and I'm planning to have a long server-work session this Wednesday, November 17th. During some phases of this maintenance work I will have to stop the server. Though I will try to keep the downtimes minimal, please expect them that day.

Here I thought it was just an issue with feeding Knuffel-that's where I usually notice the lag.

I have no idea what a botter is, but I hope that you can get rid of it soon! o.o

Hope it gets fixed soon. I have noticed all of the lag lately, but i just thought it was my computer.

O, and is this problem the reason why some peoples avatars aren't showing up? Their avatars come up completely blacked out. I've noticed this since yesterday.
