Reporting Posts/Threads
Hey folks, Mouse here! The staff wants to remind everyone about how to report posts and threads, to save Moderators time, and keep the forum clean. There will be many things included in this message, but let us just keep it simple for now.
How To Report
Reporting a post is a simple task (to report a thread, just report the first post)
The Report Button

The Report Button is located on every post, just click it and follow the site instructions which are fairly simple... only the staff can see that you reported, so you are essentially anonymous.
What to Report
Report everything that breaks Terms of Service, Site Rules, and Forum Rules!!! The more posts that are accurately reported, the easier it is on the moderators to keep the forum clean. There may be a number of us as moderators, but the site is quite active, and going through every post would be a difficult task. We need to make sure that our users' experiences are excruciatingly well!
What Not to Do
A major frustration among the staff is the users that post in threads "this doesn't belong here", or "this is a repeat topic." Posting in the thread WILL NOT help the moderators clean the forum, in fact, it only takes up space on the database that is unnecessary, when a simple report would take care of it much quicker.
Try your best to make sure that something is against the rules. I would personally say if it's questionable go for the report, however, making a report for something that is clearly okay has the opposite effect on the moderators. Don't be afraid to report... but don't be ignorant either :)
I cannot express how much an accurate report helps us out! Just take the extra 30seconds from your time to report the thread. We do appreciate it, even if it may not be expressed directly!
