By the time Inuyasha had been created I was already a hard core fan XD; In fact, I remember knowing Inuyasha by "That anime made by Rumiko Takashi and the main character's Seiyuu is Yamaguchi Kappei"

Inuyasha was my first anime. One night I saw my sister watch it and I joined her and i got addicted to anime ever since

Inuyasha was not my first anime (Sailor Moon holds that title), however, it was the first series I recognized as Anime. XD

Oh, gawd no!
Mine were My Neighbor Totoro, Project A-ko, and Dragonball.
I don't like Inuyasha. Some of the characters are nice - Kagome, Shippo, Kirara, Akitoki Hojo, etc. - and the music's great, but the story...

Besides pokemon, shaman king, etc. I think InuYasha was one of the first anime I ever watched
