PM System reset tonight

Hi people,
since the server move the PM system is doing weird stuff. Since I don't have a clue why this is happening, I'm planning to reset the entire PM system tonight, hoping this will resolve the problem.
I will disable the PM system at 20:00 UTC. ALL MESSAGES WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE FOLDERS, assuming nobody's so daft to keep vital information somewhere in his/her PMs. I'll keep a backup of all data, so when the system's back up I can try and figure out if the old PMs can be restored to the folders, although this may take a while.
Anyone who has unfinished business in PMs is asked to resend the respective PMs after the system is back up.
I expect I won't need more than half an hour to have the system back up again.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
[UPDATE: Operation completed]
I've reset the PM system, put back all PMs from the backup, and rebuilt the PM->User Folder relations. Now all PMs should be at their correct recipients' folders and nowhere else.
If there's still something wrong, I'll have to use the next measure which would be to actually purge all PM data and start all folder relations anew, resulting in loss of all PMs... Hope I won't have to do this...

There weren't any PMs "lost" but people get PMs that weren't supposed to be sent to them. Some people like to use Private Messages because they are private and don't want random people to read their PMs, so this needs to get fixed.

I see, I meant the PMs were just sent a couple of times to the wrong users D;
I've asked one w/her PM in mine, if she lost this PM but she said she already have it, oh well..

I don't believe that to be the problem. It's alright if the user intended is still getting their pm's, but to know that someone else could be receiving it simultaneously and reading their contents within could be rather discouraging. PM is intended to be a private message, meaning whatever you don't want to be viewed by the public...sure there are instances where a pm is sent out of pure convenience, though at the same time sometimes we shoot things back and forth that weren't meant to be read.
So personally I'm glad this tiny issue will be dealt with, losing some of our older pm's is merely but a small price we have to pay to see the problem remedied.
I thank you very much for this announcement, any info like this is always welcomed.

Ah, that's not exactly my point but I do understand Starkad for doing this ^^
I think the glitch is only effective that day & people are now figuring it out so this is just OK..

How do we resend them if they dont exist anymore?

I guess I'll have to copy and paste them all...

I didn't notice anything was going on until I saw the announcement. The first time I checked, everything looked fine, but just now I noticed that my outbox was empty. I'd had 10 or 12 birthday messages in there that hadn't been picked up, but I discovered that they're all in my sent box now. Will they still show as unread to the recipients?
