The last 2 weeks in my 3D Animation class we had evaluations: which are kind of like interviews; that test our abilities on 3D Animation in creating whatever we want which the evaluation is part of the Skills USA competition.
Skills USA: is a competition where the judges find who they think have a shot in going to state and winning money and scholarships and etc on animation, graphics, music, or anything that you can think of really.
I found out that I made it to the next round in the Skills USA competition without any intention of doing so.
Which means when I get back to school again I'll be working with my partner in creating whatever project that the person who is coming in to talk to us, will want us to create as a practice contest to get the feeling of what a real competition will feel like.
Also if any of you guys/gals are wondering what it was that I presented to the judges, it was: a video on a mouse that climbs up a tree and then goes back down and finds the big cheese. I was aiming to make something short, cute, and simple.
Thought I'd share that with you all ^_^
