I was going to get a few but I'm trying so hard to save for a car. I'm sort of tired of relying on my parents and friends to get me to work at 7:15 in the morning.

My dad works about two minutes away from me and his hours are half hour before mine, so thankfully I can carpool most of the week. He's M-Th and I'm T-F barring mandates so Friday is the only day I need to borrow a vehicle
But if dad finally gets to the position he's had for two and a half years, that area does a lot of Friday and Saturday overtime and if he can be part of that too that means I can carpool all week

Hopefully I can get a job at the elementary school closest to me, though my heart is in another school in the bigger part of the city that'll require the most transit.

Good luck either way. There is another place I could work, but between the loss of carpooling ability and longer drive time, the higher paycheck there wouldn't mean much cuz that extra money and then some would go into gas, car maintenance, etc, and actually be more like a pay cut

Yeah our weather should be at cooling down but we've been getting some days more akin to summer
