I'm going to say that you can store your fairy magic into baked goods, so that you can use more magic at once by creating magical items for later, replenishing your power, and then nomming on magic treats while casting more spells.
Also, you can transfer the effects that way by casting a spell normally only having an effect on yourself, while you bake something, and then letting someone else eat the result.
