Hey mem!
Could I get 25x Groundsel, if you've got it?
I know you said that you were low on stock for that material. I don't mind overpaying. I swear, my Knuffels much be allergic to them, I've been digging for months and can't find a single one.

No problem, I have that many
I think Groundsel is one of the element-specific materials. I believe it can only be found in the Knobby Woods by Earth element knuffs. Maybe that's why it's so elusive.

I've been working on this quest for so long, I have no memory of what the reward is anymore. 
Oh! I didn't know that! No wonder - I have only been digging with one Knuffel in the Knobby Woods! Time to switch my apples and cupcakes to a more even spread across the elements. Thanks for the tip!

Out of curiosity, how did you know that the Groundsel was a location-specific material?
Is there a guide to what materials you can find in each digging area?
I swear my Knuffels seem to become blind to whatever materials I am in need of at the moment. I wonder if I'm just digging in the wrong areas....

It was just my own observation from my years of regular digging
Maybe somebody made a guide on the forum though.

Sorry for crashing in off-topic but actually yes! There is a guide:

It's done by Akili Li and can be found in the Official Quest sub forum
not complete though but most areas are done and Akili Li is currently working on it again :3

I'll be referring to that forum a lot. Maybe now I'll be able to finish a quest in less than a year!
Akili Li is such a godsend. I'll have to stop by and thank her for making a guide.
I love how many users step in to create guides just to share their knowledge with others. I used to LIVE on Amura's Price Guide, back when it was up. (Then Useffel, before it got closed, too.)
