That's true.
I guess that I didn't struggle with it as much because my mom wasn't great at caring for me. So I was used to being in control of my life more and things like that.
Eh... He's not doing amazing. I feel like if we weren't in abject poverty his mental health would be a lot better. I don't think it would be cured of course, but I think it would be a lot more manageable.
What I hate is people rushing into marriage and having babies. Lots of people are like we'll date for a year get married, guess what we pregnant! like 2 days in.
I'm like, chill y'all. Your fertility doesn't start dropping off until you're like 35. You got plenty of time. Also! Just cuz you pregnant you ain't gotta marry your baby daddy. Y'all known each other for like 2 months. Don't get married!
My spouse and I dated for 5 years before we got married.

I agree with that completely. Some people are not ready to be parents, some are not fit to be parents, and the ones who'll suffer most are always the children ):
In my work I've seen quite a few students whose parents are just.... Different kinds of Bad. It makes me so sad and frustrated.

I think you should have to take parenting classes when you have kids. There are so many ways to fuck up kids.
Too many people are too laisse faire about it.

People who don't deserve kids get to have kids.
There's been a lot of cases I've come across as a true crime lover that make me angry.
Not a huge fan of kids but it still makes me angry to see adults abusing them.

There are a ton of people who don't deserve kids. lol.
I am not super fond of kids either but I think that they deserve to be protected and be happy.

What sucks too is when kids tell people they're being abused and they're ignored.
This is a disturbing case I will never forget.
I'll put it in spoilers so people can choose to read it or not.

There was this little boy who had told people his dad hit him.
Despite him telling people about the abuse, he was left in their care.
They tortured and killed him and fed his body to pigs.
They even had photos of him being abused.

Yeah, people are awful. A lot of people just assume their kids are their property, not tiny people. And it just ain't true.
Kids are people and they deserve rights.

Eh. Most people that want to adopt only want babies. There are so many kids in the foster system. It's awful.
And then of course the republicans want to make more people have babies that they can't take care of. So more kids in the foster care system. More kids getting lost.
It's just so stupid. I hate it.

Yeah, it's the same with animals too apparently.
People want baby ones...
To me, I'd want a baby one to raise for a long time.
If I buy an older dog and they die not long after - it's going to hurt me...
Foster homes aren't always safe either. I don't think people realize that. There's a lot of pedophiles that are foster parents and it's obnoxious that it even exists.
Going back to baby animals...My Hyde died a few days ago. He was at least 15 years old. I feel like part of me is missing. I want another dog - a puppy. Not to replace him because I didn't love him but because I feel safer with a dog.
No one can ever replace my Hyde. He was my baby.
