I ended up taking a pill for that headache.

And good news is, I didn't kill any of my rats, but I figured I just grew the guts to dominate them whenever they are misbehaving. Not that it helps

I think it's because of my mild cold, i've got a blocked nose and sore throat, usually that associates with headache so maybe?

Aaah, blocked nose, that might be it. Your sinuses might be full, that sucks.
