Haha. That's true. One of the many useful uses of it.
I will often have moments where I can't manage to speak. But I can usually sign. It's very helpful.
But then you wouldn't be able to feel when you're injured.
Do it. There are a bunch of different resources you can find online.

I would like to note learning ASL solely online/through books is a bit risky. Even among Deaf educators there isn’t a consensus on ASL, and the language has nuances that are hard to pick up without a teacher.
If you have to, I recommend lifeprint.com paired with ASL videos from culturally Deaf individuals. Signed songs are fun, but I’ve seen some very bad ones that can be confusing to a learner.
One of my hands (and a bit of the other) and half of my face doesn’t work, so I can’t really sign.

That’s good. Moist eyes are nice. I’m so glad the drops are working.
I’m really tired and having one of those days I want interaction but not really.

Audriella - That's true. But you can get a lot of basics down. Which is nice. I took an ASL class in college and my teacher's parents are Deaf so he grew up with it. But I think it's a lot like English, things are different depending on where you are.
Life print is good. I think signed songs are more for vocabulary than grammar when not done for an assignment. Maybe if a CODA did it it would make more sense grammatically.
My hands cramp a lot and my fingers are a little slow so I can sign a bit, but I'm not very fast at all. lol.
Moi - You silly.
Yeah, I've heard of it. They have to set alarms to remind themselves to go to the bathroom or they'll pee them selves.
Yay new drops and new eye moisture!
Man, I feel those days where you want to interact with people but don't really. Like I want to chat and hang and such but it takes sooo much energy to do so.
I'm glad that it's helping so much. That's good to hear. I need to put some eyedrops in too but I don't know where mine are. lol. Packed up somewhere.

That's a good idea then. Don't want them to dry out too much. You could tie a tshirt or something around your eyes. Not as nice as a sleep mask but it'll do the trick.
Poor kitties. Tell your aunt instead of being mean to the kittens that she could call a charity like alley cats that takes cats and fixes them so they can't have anymore babies.
