Aw, that's so cute Death!

I'm slightly paranoid about touching raw chicken with my hands if they're a bit scratched or wounded in any way (just got fresh scratches from my ratties, yay XD), I somehow think it will get me a disease from touching my shallow scratch on the meat, it's totally paranoid and crazy I make myself laugh with it XD
And funny enough, last time I was preparing chicken, I cut myself pretty deeply, for first time in forever (#Frozen anyone?) and I didn't get any disease, success! lol

Okay, I'm really hungry, I should get to these omlettes I promised bf a while ago... It's after 10pm

Yeah i'm the same, when i touch raw chicken i just wanna wash my hands (read: scrub them so hard the skin comes off) :'D

Yeah, it's icky And after a while stings my hands even though I've washed it before to clean all of the weird fluid stuff.

I like chicken though, it's one of my fav meats!

Hey everyone! Been away visiting family for a bit, how is everyone?

I sometimes put on gloves when I prepare chicken, so I won't have the icky stuff under my fingernails, but mostly I'm too lazy. We just have these thin one use plastic gloves that can be used on food because my bf gets rashes from touching raw potato, otherwise I wouldn't care ;)
But maybe that'd be a solution for you guys to stop you from scrubbing so much?

That's actually a pretty good idea! i might do that next time i'm handling raw chicken!
