I have all of that covered. My mom and aunt can legally drive it and we pay the car insurance every month.
Until my dad gets back.
I saw this post on Facebook by the local news station that stated my town has the safest drivers in Texas.
I just laughed and shared it with my mom who also laughed.
People can't drive worth a shit here xD

Makes you wonder how bad the others are, if you're the safest

Oh, good, I'm glad you have the legal stuff sorted!
That is a little scary, if the "safest drivers" makes you laugh that hard....
(we got one of my grandparents to agree to give up driving recently. I have 3 still alive and they're all in their 90s, so it is a little scary. Fortunately the one who agreed to give it up was the worst driver of the three, the other two are a lot better about saying "I don't feel comfortable driving at night/on the faster roads" and being safer like that)
Speaking of safe drivers who aren't so safe. >.<

Grandpa doesn't go on those roads, so he's still driving
He's...92? 93? Somewhere along those lines

yeah, when they're willing to self-limit it isn't so bad!

I can't legally drive.
I know how to drive on the road, but I've only practiced on old country roads.
I drove in town, but it was while going to the old country roads.
I get paranoid when other cars are near me.
Which is basically how driving is.
xD
My dad was teaching me. In the same car.
I was pulling out of the store parking lot and there were two roads for me to turn into.
I saw a motorcycle in road 1 and no one in road 2, so I turned into road 2 and my dad was like "NO STOP THERE'S A BIKE!! \UB/"
I said that I saw it and it was in road 1 so I turned into road 2.
o__O
I've been out of town a few times, and people can't drive worth a shit there either.
Best of the worst \8D/

I hate driving with mom as the passenger
She flips her lid over things that I can't see and are well past where we're turning
Side effect of her car accident
She knows she's doing it, and she tries not to (she's much much much worse if she doesn't try), but she doesn't always succeed, and makes me worse

I am a super anxious passenger. But sometimes my husband doesn't pay as close attention as he should so it's a good thing I yell or he wouldn't have noticed.
He likes to stop very suddenly. I am a slow stopper. I don't like the jerking you get with the sudden stops.

I don't think that's good for the brakes either

yeah, I really don't like driving.
I concede that it is potentially a useful skill to know. But it galls me to do so. :P
