My days are a bit off because I'm visiting my sister and my nephew who's only 1 yrs old and he's having some trouble sleeping. So it's a bit tiring.

The year started well I guess. It was pretty calm.

sometimes soft music can help. do you or your sister sing? or maybe a bedtime story? Or is it nightmares?

She does sing to him, but it's not helping much. He's squirming like a little worm to the point it's hard to even hold him They didn't teach him to fall asleep while not held...
It might be nightmares or he was just overstimulated with a new person in the house. So maybe it's my fault, lol. He was crazy active while I was there.
Now I'm back home so I'll have to contact my sister and ask how he's doing with the sleeping schedule.

did she sing while holding him? I think him being 1 is still young enough to still be held while falling asleep. I hope everything works out. I don't think it's your fault. He was probably just excited you were there

Yes, she sang while holding him. It's the only way he falls asleep. Now that I'm back home he seems to be going back to his normal sleep schedule again xD

Yeah, whatever gets in his tiny hands is his and once you take it away it's a symphony of tears and shouting, and of course rage with the company of throwing things xD
