ACEO means "Art Cards, Editions and Originals". It's some "special sized art" that is the size of a trading game card: 6,4 x 8,9 cm
They have other names as well:
ATC (Art Trading cards) and KaKAO (KartenKunst, Auflagen und Originale).
Kakao is the German word. ATC are ONLY there to trade, ACEO are meant to trade or sell or do whatever.

Ahh see, Kakao would have been the one I know.
Because a friend of mine liked to draw in this limited space too.^^
I once tried but I need my place to let myself out. XD

My favorite Kakao-artist is currently at number *checks* 1937
The space is really limited sometimes. But I have drawn them for so long, that I now have real problems when it comes to drawing bigger pieces.

Thats a lot of cool stuff.
For the out lines of the kakao card I used a magic the gatheringcard.
Is quite the same size.^^
And I have lots of them laying around here.

Magic is absolutely usable xP
When I started the first thing I was told that I shouldn't use Yugi-Oh cards as they are smaller than regular trading card games *shrugs*
But I think I used a Pokémon card at the beginning.
I should draw more larger stuff. I got a folder for my art and it stopped getting fuller a few years ago
But I am also sketching a lot in my sketchbooks, so nothing to put in a folder there...

Sketchbooks dont fit so well in folders.^^

Maybe depends on the sketch"book"?
A friend of mine wanted to apply to an art school to study and wanted to make it "easy" and hand in a sketchbook. They had some counseling days and when she showed them her nearly full sketchbook (A4), they said "That looks great and all, but a sketchbook only counts as ONE piece of art and you need to hand in at least 8 pieces of art!"
