That's super dark, although I shouldn't judge considering all of our bridges that cross over highways in my state have super high fences to deter people from jumping/ pushing people off of them.

i think its really just for safety reasons, i mean, people COULD accidentally fall in i guess. but there's also the added protection of preventing people from jumping in as well.

i mean look at japan. they have their own Suicide Forest. in their historical past, they had suicidal practices like committing seppuku and stuff. they have "honorable" suicides.

Yeah I figured its also a safety issue too. Actually now that I think about it, it also probably protects people from debris as well. Highway debris can be dangerous sometimes.
