ooh that used to be me, decorating my avatars that somewhat resembled me. until i realized that i don't want people to "recognize" me at all xD
which is crazy because i'm implying someone will look at my avatar and be like, oh that's nankuii in real life! 8u

Well avatars could NEVER resemble me, since i always use colored hairs and my own hair is just…a very ordinary black. XD but i dunno, i just seem to like to wear glasses, because i wear glasses irl. 8U

Back when I wore glasses I always felt like I had to include glasses in any avatars or self-doodles to make it "authentic" It was an internal struggle because on one hand being half-blind is quite a defining trait but on the other hand I really didn't like my glasses....

pftt lol i see. xD;; well i don't HAVE to wear glasses on my avatars. but sometimes i feel like something is missing and then i throw a pair of glasses on lol. xD

hm... maybe because i wear contacts now, i feel less compelled to put them in my avatars lol

the non-round glasses like ace glasses or the rockabilly sunglasses are underrated in my opinion, but i never seem to make avatars with them aha;;
