You never know what life will have in store for you.

My dad is someone who can't be alone.
He's dated several women and it never works out.

He married one woman and they seemed so happy.
They made plans and everything for the next year.
Then out of nowhere, she tells him she doesn't love him anymore.
He called me, crying and saying she told him that :\

Then he was trying to date this woman he met online. They talked on the phone and everything.
He got dressed all nice, went out of town to go see her, payed for a nice hotel room for them, planned to take her somewhere nice to eat.
She stood him up.
I was so angry.

The woman he wanted to marry...Something bad happened and we think she was part of it.
She was not a good mother either.
I tried to be nice to her and I loved her kids but she was unfit :\
My dad took better care of her kids than she did.
They weren't even his kids.
He bought them food, cleaned their clothes, helped them with homework, bought them toys, took them out to eat...

Some people can't be alone indeed.
I never really understood it, maybe because I've always been a loner - and I had always assumed I'd end up an spinster.

But some people feel the urge of having someone by their side, even if that person is not fit for them.
I guess they make bad choices cause they don't want to give it second thoughts, just want that person with them and that's all.

I at most had crushes when I was a kid that didn't go very far. I used to want a wedding. Now I just want to be left alone with my cats 8u

I never wanted a wedding.
And I did not get one actually. We got married but no dress and no fancy celebration.
We just invited our parents to a good restaurant, one of the expensive ones you would not usually spend your money in.

I was like "Princesses have such nice weddings I want one \8u/"
See, if I did get married, I'd do what you did.
I couldn't handle a full-blown wedding xD;
I don't like a lot of attention on me.
I mean...I would like a dress and a makeover but that's it 8u

I never had a prom either...I always wanted to get a prom dress and makeover.
I wouldn't go to prom but I wanna be pretty >8u

We did a prom party in college.

My dress was much fancier than my usual clothes, but still nothing like prom dresses in movies.
It just just a black dress, and I bought a pink foular and pink heels. I also wore some make up.
That was it.

I dropped out of school so I wasn't old enough to have one.
My school also would NEVER allow kids to touch other kids through dancing.
Christian school and all.

I actually don't like wearing dresses. Last dress I wore was...to my grandpa's funeral in 2008 I think.
I wore a black dress.

I used to love dresses when I was a kid apparently.

I feel "unsafe" in dresses and skirts. Like I'll accidentally fall or something and everyone would see my underwear.
Sooooo I just wear pants and shorts.
If a dress is mandatory for whatever reason I'll wear one with shorts under it u8

When I was younger I never liked dresses.
I bought that one, becase it was an special day.
I used that very same dress for every special ocassion in the following ten years - no purpose in having two dresses.

But since I gained much weight, I've started feeling more comforable in strechy dresses.
Finding comfy pants is not so easy anymore, and leggings + stretchy dress is a winner when you need to be real comfy - for example when I expect to drive more than I usually do.

Stretchy clothes are good in general 8u

I like ...sweater dresses and leggings.
I can't wear such things here so I like seeing them xD
