Kingdom of Knuffel

Sirene looked up,"Nathan isn't back yet...." She frowned. She wondered if this as just a prank or something, inviting her to a concert and then not showing up. That didn't sound like Nate, but sometimes her brain didn't want to process things properly.

Natalie shook her head. "Never mind that, don't you have to get ready?" She questioned curiously. Her brother had plans after the concert, but she promised not to say anything.

Nathan was on his way to pick of Sirene for the concert, running a little late due to his 'to-do list' causing more of a headache than he had planned for.

"I guess I should," Sirene said as she went to get ready. She almost didn't want to go. She did need a little fun to get her out of this sour mood she seemed to be in. She hated feeling like this.

After a short time, Nathan arrived at Sirene's house, somewhat looking dressed up. Natalie swam to the door before he could knock, and opened up for him with a cheerful smile. "Sirene, Natti's here~" She called to her friend. Nathan could only smirk at his sister's pep.

Sirene was almost ready. Her long hair was curled elegantly and pulled up into a ponytail. She had just put on one of her favorite shirts with the band's logo on it and she then grabbed the necklace Nate had given her and put it back on before swimming for the door.

Nathan smiled some when he saw her, she looked pretty with how she had put her hair up. He offered a hand to her. "You ready?" He asked. Natalie smiled at the two of them and gave Sirene a light, playful push. "You guys have fun, alright?" She said, truly happy for them.

Sirene was a bit nervous but nodded, going with him from the house as they swam to the park where the concert was going to be. "I'm really excited about this concert." She said, hoping it would make her feel a bit better.

Nathan swam with Sirene to the park, nodding lightly as she spoke. "Music is the second best cure for the funk." He said with a light smirk. Once there, he made sure to keep a hold on Sirene's hand, as to not lose her in the crowd of mermaids and mermans.

The stage was set, and soon their favorite group was starting their concert.

Sirene looked over at him, an eyebrow raised,"Second best?" She asked him,"What is the first then?" She really wasn't sure if she knew. Either way, she looked back at the stage, waiting for the band to come out and get started. When they did, she smiled and sang along to the songs, knowing them all by heart.

Nathan couldn't help smirking when she asked, and simply shook his head. As the concert went on, he had managed to wrap his arms around her from behind, while she was singing. He loved her singing, and everything else about her. He was planning on telling her today.

Natalie swam off towards the surface, unable to get the human boy out of her mind. He had to see him, to talk to him at least.
