I watched some youtube videos today. I walked in on mom watching this video of this woman giving a speech about her life and living positively. She was born with some sort of deformation on the left side of her face, then she was raised in an orphanage and never knew her birth parents, she got cancer on the good side of her face, and people told her that she shouldn't have children because her children would be scarred from having such an ugly mother... and she's just such a grateful, positive person. I mean, she was able to say that she loves her mother she's never met and she thanked her mother on stage saying that she's so happy that she gave her life and that she's sorry that she gave her pain by having been born with a deformity on her face. I could never do something like that. It was really touching.

watched a bunch of episodes of Enterprise, then a movie called The Guilt Trip, then back to some more Enterprise episodes as that's the series I'm going through at the moment
