Kingdom of Knuffel

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. Apparently I read the hxh manga before, I just forgot that I did. Thankfully there were new chapters when I decided to read it again. The new world arc is making me a bit confused just because of how many factions and how different the intentions of each faction is. On one hand, it keeps me on my toes not being able to predict what'll happen next just because of the sheer number of possibilities, but on the other hand, I sometimes forget which prince has which bodyguard and if they're loyal bodyguards or not.

I'm not sure who to root for either. I kind of like Queen Oito just because of how she genuinely cares for the princes. But I also think that she's likely to get killed. Also, I'm worried about Killua ;A; He's pushing his emperor time to the limit and therefore is physically hurting his body and lessening his lifespan.

I also miss seeing Killua, Gon, and the interactions of the zodiac D:

Oh yeah, the factions really confused me at first. Some of it is interesting, but some of it is just a lot to take in. I've had to look at the Hunter Wiki a few times, but it'd be great if there was an easier way to remember.

You mean Kurapika? I don't even know what "lifespan" means in manga, since there are rarely any long-term consequences (like, you don't see people suddenly croaking because they'd shortened their lifespan during an earlier point in their life).

Would be interesting, and I wouldn't put it past Togashi-sensei to actually put permanent weight and consequence to it.

I don't miss the Zodiac as I don't know them well, but I do want to see more of the Spiders, Illumi, and Hisoka. (I really enjoy the villains of this series.) Dang, I got a little excited when Hisoka got into his killing rampage/spree. Kinda feel a bit sorry for some of the Spiders (but not really). I just hope that Feitan and Shizuku are spared, since they're my favorites.

I miss seeing Killua too, but with his new responsibilities towards his sister, I think giving him an arc or two to recover is fine. I still haven't forgiven Gon for being a jerk. >_>

I wish we'd get to know the princes more, but characters are always coming and going in this series. I feel kinda sorry for the prince that died as well.

I feel like something interesting is going to happen with the prince that's a genius at learning how to use Nen. I can't wait for that development to happen.

Whoops. Yeah, I meant Kurapika. I think I typed the later paragraph of me missing Killua before that one, so I ended up typing Killua again in the later paragraph. Sorry XD. Man, he held the emperor time for a long time. I can't remember the specifics of the life-shaving characteristic of emperor time, but that must've been a big chunk. I wonder how it'll be used as a plot device in later arcs. I don't think they'll kill of Kurapika just yet.

I think what I liked about the Zodiac is their interaction? It was a fairly light hearted arc for hunterxhunter. It gave me the rest I needed after the Chimera Ant arc. I'm not missing the Spiders just yet because I read the chapter about Chrollo and Hisoka's fight. I'm interested in seeing how Hisoka will plan on killing the other Spiders though. I also like Feitan and Shizuku but I honestly don't think Hisoka will leave them alive unless he gets killed before killing them.

It just feels like we weren't given much information about Killua and Alluka's interaction y'know? I'd love to see how Killua changes because of Alluka and what trouble they get into. Plus, I'd love to see development from Alluka as well. I don't really mind if there isn't much Gon in that arc XD. I hope Killua and Alluka's arc comes after the New World arc though.

Yeah. The problem with the latest arc is there's simply too much charas. So it can't be helped that their personalities weren't fleshed as much. I'm really interested in the twin prince pair though.

Aye, I don't think his death will be a quick one. He'll probably kill a ton of other princes on the way, since he's one more the more focal characters in this arc.

Aha, the fans probably wouldn't allow for the death of Kurapika. That'd be too cruel and too harsh. But having it as a plot device is promising.

Ah, I see. I liked the visual concept for the Zodiac, but I don't have much of an impression of them aside from being frustrated with Pariston, but I can respect him as a character. XD

Yeah, Hisoka's merciless; I don't expect him to spare either of those characters, or any of the spiders. He might save Machi near the last (since he's fond of her), and Chrollo, of course. The others are gonna have to battle it out.

Maybe there would be some form of intervention (unlikely) that will throw him off of his goals, though. Hisoka has a changeable whim after all --if there are more promising prospects out there, he would probably cast the majority of this lot aside for some other time and go after a bigger prize.

Another exciting element there is Kalluto. I kinda want Hisoka to kill him and incur Illumi's wrath in the process. But I'm sure my thoughts and Hisoka's is the same on this matter. It'd be fun. XD

Well, it's always possible. I like the concept behind Alluka, but I don't like Alluka herself for some reason. It might be because I really enjoyed Gon and Killua's close friendship, and since the Chimera Arc punched a big hole in that, Alluka just seems like a relational replacement to me; someone else that Killua can be close to that isn't Gon.

I don't think that it's that their personalities weren't flesh, but that the characters aren't given as much screen time because there are so many, and the plot is specific and intense. Togashi-sensei may be holding back on revealing too much information on the princes so that he can surprise us with a plot twist later. That seems a lot like him.
