I too have had the same thought about the donation prices. I was very excited when I read the anouncment. But when I read further and realized how expensive it would be I wasn't so overjoyed. But on the up side there are MANY who sell fairy tokens, so if you have plenty of fp then that is always a fast possibility to help you get the fairy tokens to buy some of the older ones. Like gen 1 ect. But you also have a very valid point about making them sky rocket in price. So it may be a no win situation. On the up side like you said you may be able to catch a few when they get dropped into knuffletropolis. I actually caught one, a little 12th gen earth knuffel the other day. I actually refreshed twice and he was still there so he came home with me. So if you have good timeing like you said that is always a possibility too!

in order to get one of each that I'm missing. Not to mention I'd love to have 4 more Earth Gen. 1s (never going to happen). We'll just have to wait it out and see, I suppose. :3

Oh my gosh! Me too. When I first started everyone was like oh chat chat chat you'll make your first 2500 in no time and be able to buy your first knuffle. And so I start chatting and doing all the polls ect and after like a week... Yeah I was only at 1000 fp. but I would answer all these polls ect and it was like 5 fp for one.... How the heck are you supposed to do that??? LOL! So I cut out the middle man, spent 10 bucks bought fairy coins and then sold em for fp... LOL! I agree that the ratio of coin to actual real life money is rather steap! I think if it were a bit better they would get more donations. For instance I play chicken smoothie, If I buy 5 dollars of Chicken cash I get something like 350 chicken dollars! On here for 1 fairy coin it costs what like 2.50 for it? Thats steep! It should be the opposit. for one dollar you get 3 fairy coins ect. I suggested this on one of the other boards and got blasted for my suggestion. Everyone was like "it would crash the market" and "this is a very bad idea" and I'm like Why? I mean yes for awhile things would be a little chaotic but balance would be resorted and restored and things would get back on an even keal eventually with the "new" market values. I don't know maybe I think to simple but it made since to me. I'll probably buy a few of the higher gen ones that are only 1 or 2 fc and wait to see on the others cause the ones I really want are like 13 fc! Ah to be rich.... LOL

As for 2.5$ giving 3 fc: sure it would be easier to get stuff from TT, but people would expect more fc for old items and what is more, people who want new stuff from TT would donate less. Right now you'd need to donate 65$ for everything in all colours that is in TT, which is small price in my opinion, considering you get many items in each set. If 2.5$ was 3fc, then 22$ would already give them all current TT items in all colours, so people would most likely donate 3 times less. With so much smaller amount of donations this site would go down within 2-3 months.

I dunno. I see both sides of the FC thing. Chris instantly shot me down when we found out we only get one FC for $2.50. Had the return been a little better, even if it was a 1:1 ratio like Aywas, he would have let me buy at least one, maybe even two as he saw this was a cry for help from the site. But with my return being so little, it's just not plausible with our current financial situation.
I've always felt the economy here was a little wonky. It took me about 3 days to get my first Knuffel, I think, by continually spamming and doing any polls I could find.
Nowadays I'm just too busy to really chat around in forums, let alone post, so my earnings are severely diminished. We just need to add like 10 more hours to every day. Then maybe I can do everything I want and need to. :D

I make around 5k a day, by making a dig/level up run on my knuffel. Whole thing takes me bit over an hour. So I can't complain, really.
Yeah, but I remember there was this event thing on KofK longer time ago, when you could get more fc for less or something and from what Firn said, most of people didn't donate more then they usually would, instead they donated just to get sets they want, like they'd usually do, so in the end people were able to get stuff cheaper, but site lost money on it.

Awww, that's sad. ): See, I'm the type that would up my donation -- especially if I knew it was for a short time. Gotta get goin' while the goin's good!
Feeding takes forever for me. xD I usually do it on days that I'm off/have no plans. I think the average I used to make was 8-10k. Which was great when I had that back injury and was off work for an entire month, lol. But now I'm not. ^^;
I want to start a feeding contest, but it'll have to wait until I have some funds to pay the winners with. xD
Like I said, I see both sides of the FC thing. Sadly I'm just stuck in the middle. xD
