Yeah, it's super annoying. Sometimes everythings fine for weeks or months at a time and then we get like a week of every 5 minutes it disconnects and is super slow when it's there. I hate it.
I really hope the new provider will not only be faster but also more stable.

Yeah, but calling them usually achieves nothing beyong wasting your time either -.-
At best, they'll say they'll send it to the technical support people and those will contact you and then a few days later when the problem has fixed itself by itself already, you'll get an sms saying "we couldn't find a problem, ticket closed"
Last time the problem was even still there, but we still got that sms -.- They probably just happened to look at it during a time when the connection was there. But if the problem description I give them is "frequent disconnects" they should really look at this differently...

is your modem within its warranty? can you get another one or stack up your claims to prove you do need one?

Nah, it's not our hardware, we've changed that at some point already. I think it's a problem in the cables somewhere - they maybe really can't do anything about it unless they tear open the streets and put in new cables. Which is why we'll be switching to the provider who recently did that ^^ Also, they can give us a faster connection as well with their shiny new cables ^^
