he's also a good husband though, regularly surprises her with dates and flowers etc and lil 'I saw this and though of you' things that are genuine, the good side of his impulsiveness and earnestness in everything. It helps that they don't have any kids :'D

That sounds like a lovely side of being impulsive :)
I mean, the kids would probably have a lot of fun with a dad like that, but... Not sure if it's the best approach to raise them like that if you don't want them to get hurt ;)

I always think of the beginning of the Ms.Doubtfire movie if they'd ever get kids, and while the thought is funny in reality it'd be a bad thing, and I think they made a conscious decision not to get kids cause they both don't want the responsibilities :P

Well, as long as they're on the same page about that and it's not like one of them would like kids but the other doesn't, that seems like a perfectly fine decision to me :)

No, we don't have netflix yet. Our internet is so often too slow or too unstable to stream anything that it doesn't seem worth it. Hopefully soon though, we should be getting a better connection in february, and then we'll probably get netflix, too.

Ah pity, the connection issues in general sound tedious. I don't want Netflix that often but I would definitely get irritated by slow internet xD
