I had to clear off my car a few times this year, but I didn't have to shovel myself out which was nice.

my area always had tornados so the lack of proper shelter is strange to me... we're just taught to go hide in windowless rooms if you have no stormshelter or basements.
snow... didnt get much of it here either, BUT got enough of it for a white xmas so I was happy.
Don't have a car so I don't have to worry about cleaning it off, but I do have to worry about slippery sidewalks and parking lots >A<

I don't think where I live have proper storm shelters. We were taught the same, basement or a windowless room. But almost every house and building has a basement. It's mostly retail that don't, but they should have designated storm shelter in it. Fun fact, the tornado that happened when I was around 12 destroyed a factory that wasn't in town. They had built the restrooms as storm shelters. Not a single person got injured and they were the only ceiling and walls left. And the only reason they were built to that specifications was because it had to be rebuilt after a tornado destroyed the original factory.

Dunno if we have storm shelters here. I don’t think it gets that bad lol.
I don’t drive either so no car to remove snow from lol. Also a good thing I can’t drive, I don’t have to do the in between store shuttles lol. Our company just opened a new store in the city for retail and they have to do shuttles once or twice a day between stores lol.

Having a car in the winter is a nightmare, but I do need it for work so I have to deal with it.

We have some public transport over her but once you leave this little collection of towns, there's nothing but farms for a while so there's nothing that goes out there,

I miss living in Massachusetts because the transit system was large and super easy to navigate.

I remember there was an art installation once that featured all the transit systems in the world. I looked at China/Hong Kong and all I saw was a mess of intertwining coloured routes. It was crayyy.
