I think the same about frozen stuff.
Making from scratch requires a bit of skill, but brownies are quite easy.
And yeah, good ingredients. You can't make anything decent with low quality ingredients.
I did a diet two years ago, but it was not a calorie-counting diet nor a fat-restricting one, so it worked well for me.
It helped me to learn that something was not working properly in my body so I consider it a huge success. Now that I know what my issue is, I'm working on fixing it - actually have a doctor appointment in September - and although I'm still a bit worried about my weight I don't think it's where I should put the focus so I'm taking it easy.
I also don't eat light anything.
I either can it the real thing or nothing at all.
Children's toys are sometimes a bit silly.
I remember when my son was 2 and wanted a mop. So we told my parents it would be a neat Xmas gift.
They bought him this station with bucket, broom and mop. But it was all fake! None of it could do its job because it was just a plastic stick with ropes (ropes!) tied to it. It was just for
pretending, not for actual sweeping the floor.
Little one was so sad because he wanted to clean the floor with his daddy

Fortunately we found a REAL children-sized mop.

Amura: I know one day my body is going to betray me. Like after all we've been through you're gonna do that to me >8u
My dad and I love cranking the music up and when someone turns it down or turns it off, we get annoyed.
I thought it was just me until my mom and I were riding with him.
He turned this song he likes up and my mom turned it down and he looked at her and said "Don't touch my fucking radio >BU"
I don't drive but sometimes when a song I love comes on, I wish I could drive really fast because it feels like it makes the music better xD
I wouldn't do that even if I did drive, though.
I'm not irresponsible like that 8u
Jolien: Exactly \>8u/
I guess it's the freshness that makes food better because people at food places make it pretty fresh. Sometimes they give you food that's a little old.
I've never tried a diet either. I do know that I barely eat, though.
Sometimes I eat a bag of chips and that's all I have for like a day or two.
The funny thing is that I can't lose weight like that because my body thinks it's in starvation mode.
So no matter how little I eat, I retain my weight.
We'd need a small muffin pan. I don't think we have a small one.
Oh man, I really want some zucchini muffins u,8

You eat a bag of chips.
All you eat for a day or two.
I'm utterly shocked.

Eh, yeah. It's like, ketosis all the time? Maybe try eating some more healty stuff, regularly? Most is about habits I think. Way better to eat regularly and not too much junk food than nothing at all. You should take better care of yourself, Moi. 'cause you're worth it!

Fake lawn mowers. Fake mop, yeah, that stuff stinks. I was happy I found smaller brooms and shovels, yeah. The end is iron, not to hit each other on the head with, but it all worked out and they were always able to shovel everything out of the sand pit quite quickly. Lol.
I don't really have any more rants for today. Today was ok, I spent some time on DV, I like the quest/rpg system there.

I don't know about healthy, but definetely strange.
I can't go a whole day without eating, unless I'm feeling really unwell.
Yep, fake everything. When the real thing would be way easier to build than the fake one. *shrugs*

Most of the time, I'm not hungry or I don't feel like eating.
Like my stomach could be growling but I don't want any food.
I've been trying to eat more vegetables and fruits this year.
I like fruits and vegetables a lot but they often aren't filling.
Talking about food and fake things...I remember watching this video about people posting weird things online. This person claimed a grocery store opened up and they were selling out of date food. Like really out of date. They said they were going to check it out and take pictures and post them, but they never posted again 8u

I think proteins and fats are the filling ones.
People say lots of stupid things on social media, they just want everybody to pay attention to them even if they have to make up things.

I think carbs fill up too. :) Vegs just don't contain them, fruits do (sugar).
There've been 2 times in my life I had to watch my food, pregnancy diabetes. At that time I had to divide my food into 6 moments per day and as little carbs as needed, but still some to... well exist. It stunk, I was kinda hungry all day. .__. It's true you'll get used to it or eating in a different way after a few days, but I did loose way too much weight.

I can eat a ton carbs and not feel full.
I think that's why a person can overeat sugary stuff so easily.
Veggies may have plenty of carbs. Take carrot or parsnip for example. That's why people on a keto diet avoid certain types of vegetables.
But they are ok for diabetes because they don't have an impact in insulin as sugar or flour have.

Keto sounds sorta unhealthy to me though, we have cattle as I mentioned before and we tend to analyze their milk and check if they could have ketosis. It's not healthy, in the end could be life threathening for them to keep in that state. It just means that they use up their own fat to produce. I "think" and could imagine that it's the same people want to do with a diet, but I believe it's not something to be played with. Using up resources isn't a state you want your body to be in for a long, long time. .__.
Yeah, true. Carbs can be the quick one's, like sugar and fruit, but the "slower" one's do fill up a bit more. :) Whole wheat products, potatoes... But that's about it I think. XD
I never checked the carrot, I think it might have been ok, giving less insulin peaks, but I do think the carrot might be more sugary. Dunno, not a health expert really.

I just know some things about cattle. And I learnt about pregnancy diabetes. And sometimes I'm interested in stuff and discuss with my colleague. Lol. I love learning about random stuff. I often spend reading about different topics on Wikipedia or other sources (I prefer other sources, but wiki has the great "random topic" option...)
