Ooh, what kind of yarn do you have? I've always wanted to learn how to knit.

I have a bunch tbh. When I first started I bought a lot of the really cheap brands to use. Then I got a little fancier. But I will always buy it on sale. Once I figure out what I want and how much I need I either watch for it to be on sale online or find coupons. But hobby lobby usually have stuff on sale. Now the stuff I bought, the hand dyed stuff from Etsy, now that's over $20 per skein. I watch for those shops to have sales though before I buy. Not like I have never used them since I only know how to knit two ways since I self taught myself. Still need to attempt knitting socks. I also want to make a shawl.

A shawl sounds warm. I wish I was good as stuff like sowing or knitting.

Honestly I thought I wouldn't get the hang of it because of all of the mistakes I was making. I still make mistakes and don't kno anything but the basics. And I only knit blankets so far.

Blankets are still warm and useful.
My mom used to weave; unfortunately she doesn't have a loom anymore.

Yeah, but I don't need as many as I have. And if weren't for my glaring mistakes in this one (was experimenting with changing colors (like new ball of yarn per stripe) and didn't notice the holes it left in the knit until way too late) I might actually give it away.
Ooh that sounds like fun. I want to try that some day, but I already got too many other crafts I want to try.

I used to be the same way when I would sketch or write. I miss writing. I should go back to it.

I wrote for the first time in years for nanowrimo and I just wrote. I did not care if things made no sense when reread of I changed my thoughts halfway through. I used to write so much but now it's nothing. What do you write about? Like I like to write about fantasy settings with dragons or made up creatures
