I've been doing rather well with this format, getting two to three keys a day just from hunting. Then again that means I'm on here for six hours, but I'm really not on her for the full six hours. I'm going back at forth to other sites too.

That's also how I am doing it. There would not even be any point in being here for six hours in regard of finding key fragments - You would not find more key fragments that way.
I am doing my usual stuff on the compter and just come here for a few minutes every 1-2 hours to check the forums, see whether there are new wild Knuffel to approve, etc. Just my usual stuff. I get all the fragments for a key or more like this each day with overall just spending 15-20 minutes here, doing what I am always doing here without even seraching for fragments. If I actively serached for fragments, I would of course find way more, but just the ones I find while using the site normally are enough for a key.

This was the idea behind the event: We made it so that you would not really have to do anything more other than using this site a few times a day, just by coming here 3-4 times a day, checking your threads, feeding your Knuffel, maybe dig with them, maybe dressing your avatar, seeing what new Wild Knuffel are available, checking your PMs, trades, playing a game...all the stuff this site is for. Just by being active a few minutes throughout the day you should get enough fragments for a key. That was the idea. This event was not designed so people would have to spend a lot of time on it, most of all not a lot of time in a row, but that they would spend a few minutes here throughout the day.
It works fine for me, I really do not understand what people do wrong so that they can't get enough fragments for a key each day.

Aw, Firn, you're absolutely not alone in your opinion. For me personally this year's event is the easiest of them all, it even beats the Halloween event, which was already super-duper easy. And I was disappointed at the beginning that we don't get the key fragments through digging. But now I really wish all future events looked like this one, I'm having awesome fun this year.
I am also not able to understand what, why and how people do things wrong, it's all pretty clear to me. 4 fragments an hour, takes about 5 minutes average to collect. To get a key (8 fragments) it takes a person about 10 minutes. It's not much trouble or effort. So forgive me if I call people lazy or say that they are bitching/whining/heavy complaining (is what I'm going to call it from now on).
I'm really enjoying every event on this site, even the ones that seem difficult to me (like fertilizing and watering the plants and remembering to harvest or what combination I did and which ones to make yet.... :qoops: )
Most of all, I am aware that those events are your and starkad's hard work, many hours of it. And I hate seeing people be so ungrateful. Plus, they are very impolite about their complaints. "It's so hard" and so on. It's not. And there are many nicer ways to say you don't like something.
For once, you can just come here and say "aw, man, it seems so difficult! but I'll try and see :)"/"I'm not sure how it works, can someone help me?"/"is anyone able and willing to sell a few keys/key fragments for a reasonable price? I'm having super trouble this year" and so on. You don't have to post a list of things you dislike/hate/wish were different. Last year was last year, this year is this year, and next year, well, for all we know we may not get an event, because you're such heavy complainers. Just appreciate what you have and hope next year is better for you. And for god's sakes, don't forget there are people willing to help! Start a thread in Buying section, post in charities, ASK. We don't bite.

There is a topic where we can see the prize so far? Because I think I missed a day but I'm not sure and I don't want to waste keys re-opening all the windows XD

Awesome event! Thank you! I was quite relieved to see I didn't have to post to get fragments, I struggle to post as I don't have a lot to say. :mcblush:

I'm finding it super easy to get the 8 fragments a day and I can get extra fragments on the weekends so if I don't get enough on a weekday it's no big deal. I also am super happy that we can go back days so we don't miss out on anything.

Apparently, I think the event is just super. :mclove: *see rampant use of the word "super" in above paragraph*

The only tiny change I would make would be a little something to indicate days I've already opened but it's really no big deal; I can just go to the spoiler list and check my items against the list.

Again, a big thank you! Happy Holidays! :deer:

Maybe I am one of those people doing it "wrong"...?!
I go to work in the morning, come back in the evening and sit on my laptop for about an hour at most afterwards.
I tried to collect some pieces in my break trough my mobilephone but it doesn't work very well... I get my key for the day, but only by actively searching for the fragments.

Edit:
Just read trough some other comments... I don't think it's too hard. And I am really greatful that I don't have to post this or that many times a day ;)
I just tried to say that my time on the site is not limited to a few minutes now and then, but to one hour in one piece.

Yeah, collecting fragments on my phone is a pain, but I think it's only because we're impatient. xD The site loads much better on a computer so it's easier to scroll. But if you just wait a couple more seconds, it's actually not too bad to do it on your phone.

Since I have work too, I usually just do it right before I go in to work, do it during break, and then when I get home. c: So I think it's really not too bad. You honestly just need about 2-3 sessions of logging in to get one full key.

Is there some trick to collect the fragments I'm not getting? I have been on since two and I haven't collected more then four. I check the site the five times for the ones I'm missing and they just aren't there.
