I think I'll have to go with Sun,as my niece is going with Moon and wants me to battle/trade pokemon with her. She's such a great excuse to play Pokemon without people giving you looks of,'Really, you still play kids games?'....she's also crazy good with her pokemon,I've lost to her a couple of times, might be time to give up my pokecrown :qshock:

lies! you're never too old to play pokémon! oh boy, your niece sounds like a badass.. i played pokémon platinum with my sister who was 10 when she started getting into pokémon. usually i steam-rolled her bc i knew the type match ups from the top of my head and such, but last vacation (she's 16 now)... we agreed on a 6v6, level 100 cap, legendaries allowed. she absolutely TORE ME APART. it was unreal. she used clever attack combos and won with 3 pokémon left over. i will never forget that shit-eating grin she gave me. needless to say, i was a little upset...

Agreed, there is no age cap on Pokemon.

I don't have anyone here to play with. Back when Gen3 first came out, I got Ruby and Sapphire. My sister played Ruby, I played Sapphire, but she isn't as into it as I am. She loses interest after playing through the story.

Her husband is more into it, but he's all hardcore stat-training curb-stompy competitive and that's not my thing. He hates the Mega Evolutions because they wreck his Carefully Constructed Stragetgies(TM) and is weirdly puristic with stat-training (he hates the super training too because it makes it Too Easy). I just want to have fun with my cute ghosties so it's no fun to play with him. :c Basically, he only likes it because he can feel superior to casual story people like me and that's no fun.

Oh well. At least there's the internet. ;)

I'm not into the Super Training thing, just find it kinda boring for some reason. My niece has completed the pokedex for AS and is almost done with Y,I'm rather jelly....

True,I don't think you're ever too old for games period, but I still get weird looks if I'm playing pokemon outside of the house. I'm 25 people,so not too old for pokemon, but kids think I'm pretty cool, asking me for Pokémon tips and my favorite pokemon, kinda makes me feel like a boss!

It's even worse when he starts talking about them. XD
Also, it's awesome that your teacher let you play in class.

The only good thing about the Super Training part of Pokemon is that you can earn EVOLVING STONES...xD that's the only time I use Super Training...xD;; a few days ago, I decided "What the hey, gonna evolve a few Eevees and get some Eeveelutions to put into my Pokedex." BUT I DIDN'T HAVE A WATER STONE.

So I just randomly picked a Pokemon and played a round or two of Super Training for the Water Stone Cup...xD I actually got the stone I needed on the second try PFT>

I haven't tried for any of the evolution stones. I knew you could get them from the super training but I haven't bothered because it seems a lot like work. XD
