Now to get it more up to date and far more extensive. I'm not quite happy with the selection...

Thanks, the list does look good, but somehow I just know it's missing the most important items or some wonderful common items...
And as you can see from the prizes, I'd really like a long list....

I'm sad to say I didn't manage to get the ganguro eyes yet, but I found a place that might sell them and keep them separate for me... So I'm still waiting on that... If not, then I'll be buying them for a fairycoin from a separate seller... (I know, quite expensive, but I just want that one over with For not being used much, the items are really hard to get apparently, so I already switched it to the next one... ) I'm glad the dream avi quest is easier... An item each week or so and I'm slowly getting closer to it

And thanks for the compliment with the avi! I was thinking of maybe entering it into the contest, but ended up deciding against it since entering isn't possible for me right now *growls at glitches*

I read about the problems people were having in the support forum. Sounds like a really weird bug.

And yes, I love that opera set! I was a bit tempted by the light one as well, but I thought it was more interesting with more contrast. Also, I love all shades of red, so it only made sense. I think the opera set is lovely in general though, a wonderful gown and I really dig masques. Not sure about the hair though, I think the shape is a bit weird. But we'll see, maybe I'll be happy to have it at some point.
And hurray for moon and swiff because it always works nicely! ;)
I didn't want to use the set bg, because I think things look cluttered when you have basically everything in the same color as the (rather busy) background. Moon and swiff was the only other thing that seemed to make sense to me. I like how it picks up the color of the eyes a little (which I mainly chose for lack of better ones) - that ties it together for me.

It really goes well. I know I usually have more busy avi's
But I like that this background is less busy (colourwise) than most set ones. For example the princess xin one is really hard to work with...

Oh yeah, the princess xin one is busy, too... But on the other hand its colours seem natural to me and I feel you can use it with an avi in completely different colors if it is a fitting setting for the avi.
The opera one is difficult to me because I feel it is very hard to get the avi to stand out if it uses the same colors, but it doesn't really make much sense behind an avi that uses completely different ones.

Yeah, I don't doubt that it's possible to solve that somehow. I'm just not good at it :D
I'm generally not talented when it comes to working with bgs, I always think that is the hardest part of an avi.
