The visiting advisor's slowly rose from their chairs, causing Angel to turn her attention to them. "We as the royal council will do everything in our power to keep Prince Phoenix and his kingdom under a watchful eye." The elderly man who questioned Dorian, spoke clearly and boldly. The others agreed. Angel nodded to them and also stood, bowing as their meeting seemed to come to a conclusion.

Once the advisors took their leave, Angel slowly sank back into the chair and put her hands on her head. She was glad the meeting was over.. it had been awhile since she had to deal with so much pressure in one sitting. Now all she had to do was tend to her beloved dragons and visit the castle sorceress, Nami, over in the black tower.

Dorian took a seat as well as the council left. "Well, that was interesting to say the least." He said and smiled. He let go of Angel's hand and placed it on her shoulder instead. "Are you okay?" He asked and looked worriedly at her. She seemed tired.

A whimper was heard from the door, and Dorian looked up. "Sorry, must be Nieve." He said and walked over to let the giant wolf inside. The wolf nuzzled against Dorian, who smiled at her. "Sorry for leaving you alone, Nieve." he said and petted her. He hadn't really bought it a good idea to take he wolf with him to the meeting, but he also knew she would get rather restless without him around.

Angel managed a small smile, and lightly nodded to Dorian's concern. "I'm alright.. Thank you for joining me." She spoke quietly, glancing at the door when she heard the whimper. Angel shook her head and giggled.

"It's quite alright." She said casually as she slowly rose out of the chair. "Why don't you pay her some attention, I'd like some alone time with my Aqua..if you don't mind." Angel spoke, her voice softening. "Or you can come..I don't mind.." She murmured, then she motioned a light curtsy and began to leave the throne room. She headed down the hallway, then outside, and to the pen of her babies. Seeing Aqua lower her head and gently nuzzle her, she giggled quietly wrapped her arms around the neck of her dragon.

~Are you alright, princess?~ Aqua asked her through their connection. Angel paused for a moment and rested her forehead against the dragons' leathery neck.

Dorian chuckled lightly as Angel asked if he wanted to see the dragons again. "I think I have introduced myself to them already, and I think it's for both our benefits if a stranger don't disturb them too often." He said and smiled, remembering the dragon's distrust for him. "I'll find a servant and ask them for direction to the library." He said and smiled, giving Angel a small bow, and left with Nieve following behind him.

He was lucky enough to find a maid after a short walk, and was escorted to the library. He looked through the shelves and found quite a few history books and smiled as he took a seat at a table. "Well, Nieve, let's see what this country's history have to offer."

"He's turning out to be everything a prince needs to be.." Angel murmured softly to her beloved dragon. Aqua mentally chuckled and nuzzled her human lightly. ~'Maybe you should tell him you fancy him?'~ She suggested in a motherly-manner. Angel sighed and curled up under her large wing. "How can I tell him? Nix is stirring up trouble, I have to focus on protecting my kingdom.." She murmured. Aqua lifted her wing to see the princess. ~'Oh come now, young one, you're over thinking this.'~ She cooed. Angel glanced up at her. "What about her?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. The dragon sighed mentally and shook her head. ~'Go talk to him..'~ She said.

Angel groaned a little and stood, stretching. "Alright, alright- we've got plans in the library since we're done here." The princess teased playfully. Aqua nuzzled the princess and gave her a light nudge with her head. Angel headed back inside and made her way to the castle library.

Dorian had just finished the first two chapters of the book, when he heard the door open. He looked up to see Angel apenter and grinned, as he rose. "Well, if it isn't my lovely fiancé." He said and he moved closer and reached out for her hand, so he could guide it up and kiss the back of it. "What a lovely surprise."

Nieve, who had been curled up next to him, looked up and spotted the new arrival. She got up and walked over, gently pushing her nose into Angel's side, before pushing her head under Angel's free hand. Dorian chuckled. "Seems Nieve have missed you." He said and looked at the wolf.

A small tender smile came to her lips as her dark jade eyes followed Dorian. A rosy tint coloring her cheeks at the gentle gesture he made in greeting her. "My sweet prince.." She said softly, blinking when she felt Nieve bump her, and smiled down at the large wolf. She slowly ran her hand over the wolf's head before kneeling in front of her. "I haven't forgotten you either, Nieve." Angel spoke softly as she held back a giggle, scratching behind her ear like Dorian had shown her. "Some very sinister forces are at work against my kingdom.. I can feel it.." She murmured quietly, slowly lowering her hand to rest in her lap. Angel gazed at Dorian with soft eyes. "You might see an unpleasant side of me..." She murmured in a hushed voice. A side of her that she had very little control over..

A curse she was born with, by the blood of her uncle who chose her over her brother to inherit. "Will you still..stay..?" She heard herself murmur, her voice slightly cracked. She was growing to like Dorian very much, and actually could not wait to tell her mother about her feelings for the young Prince.

Dorian smiled. "Hey now, no need to be saddened, my Princess." He said and ran a hand through her hair. "No one can be perfect all the time, there will be pleasant day, and bad days." He smiled. "As long as we can have the good ones, I'll live through the bad ones right here at your side." He kissed her cheek and grinned.

He also had to stay at this kingdom according to his family. It wasn't mere coincidence he was engaged to angel, after all. They were placed strategically good, should a war spring out between the kingdoms. It also worked well with where The northern kingdoms had their borders.

Angel tenderly placed a sweet kiss on Dorian's lips when he was close enough to her, pretty immediately after he kissed her cheek. "No prince has been so kind to me.." She murmured in a soft voice. Her eyes did flash gold for a split second, but there was no way Dorian could have noticed. Angel slowly stood and glanced at the young prince. "Now, I think I promised to show you of our magic." She said with a small smile.

Dorian blinked in surprise when he was kissed. He was pretty sure he had read Angel as against their wedding when they had first met, and was a tad surprised by this sudden change, though happy none the less. He smiled and looked at her as she spoke. "Then no prince have been deserving of you, Angel. You deserve kindness."

Then she mentioned showing him the magic of the kingdom. "I thought you told me, i wasn't allowed in the tower." He said and frowned. "Also, I did mention that I'm quite frightened my magic." He added, remembering the lie he had told yesterday.
