I enjoy soft-cover/paperbacks more, just because they take up space and are less poky when I put them in my backpack. Aha. It doesn't really make a big difference to me, though.

I generally prefer softcover, but if it's a smaller size hardcover, I'll buy that instead. Though lately it's been mostly e-books because they take up no space and my bookshelves are already overflowing. ^^;;;

Hardcover is my preference, over softback.

I prefer softcover because it doesn't take as much place and it's easier to carry multiple books around if they are softcover.

I always prefer Hardcover but most of my books were Softcover versions mainly because I'm still a student when I started collecting books and softcovers were more affordable to me at that time. I also, resort to e-book from time to time, If I want something I could read anywhere I go

I like hard covers because with soft covers the spine likes to bend more. So the hard covers always looks better in that way. But I dont mind what kind I get, as long as I get the book I want. c:
But when I buy books I usually get soft covers
unless its a new book and I cant wait for it. xD So it just depends, but I know once I go into a book store I come out with like 2-3 books everytime xD lol

I like both hard-covers and paperbacks, but between the two, I'm probably more on the PB end. They're more travel friendly, and I wouldn't feel half as paranoid lending them out to folks. Hard-covers definitely look nicer on the shelves though.

Hardcover is my choice. I like the heaviness to them and it feels like your holding something sturdy that will last.

As much as I love the way hardcovers look I say paperback has more advantages. You can store more paperbacks, they are cheaper, you feel less bad if something messes them up, they look more well loved, and are lighter.
I'm reading IT, new movie and all, and I would hate to have a thousand page hardbacked book. @.@

Softcover because it's easier to read and flip
And I usually bring my books with me just in case I get bored, so unless it's the size of my palm I prefer softcover
