Vip status would mean the site becomes pay to play and more like Gaia and everyone cries not to become like Gaia.

There are other sites like Waja that give vip status that give 1 item a month and allows you to have a few additional perks like the pear tree for leaves that can be used for an additional shop, on top of that it give people the chance to obtain more pears... if this site was to bring in a vip thing, it would come down to how they balanced the site not all the time is a vip status a bad thing if it gives slight perks

Now, as I said I think the prices are fair, high, but fair. There are a certain number of Knuffel released and as the site has grown with users, that number has gone up to accommodate it. Firn had no intention of ever releasing more of the Knuffel once they were sold out because they're like a collectible item (sorry for calling them an item Firn) if you miss out, then you miss out and have to rely on other users to get the item. Since a lot people came here from Gaia think of it like this: You know the Halo on Gaia? The first donation item and how rare it is, think of that as Gen 1 Knuffels. Wouldn't you just LOVE a Halo, but it's damn impossible to get? That's the same as the Knuffel only Firn has actually gone against her own wants and cares and made it possible that you can get that Halo (in this case Knuffel) again. It's not going to be easy, and it shouldn't be. I have never wanted this feature to come out, because at one point I was a Knuffel collector and I was so proud that I had every single Knuffel released because I knew I worked hard for them then and was happy to show that... Now, since this dreaded (by me) feature came out, I'm actually proud of the collection I once had, again, because I see how highly Firn values those Knuffel and understands they're rare, something that is supposed to be special, and you need to work hard to get.
So just stop complaining and be happy that you have a chance at all to get these Knuffel again. She listened to the users, she made them available again, so she didn't make it as easy as you wanted, so what? Do a little work and get the Knuffel. Over time, you'll get your money back from them via digging and leveling up. Might take time, but you'll make it back eventually.

And besides I will use Foxy's Halo example right now to state. Can you imagine the uproar that would be caused if that same halo was re-released for $5-$30 instead of the ridiculous but realistic price they did use? How many people would have it? How worthless they'd become to own?

The price is there to prove your dedication to that knuffel. Plain and simple.

Either way, while I appreciate them being brought back, I find the price too high for myself. If they did need more donations, I kind of agree with Meredith:
"In my OWN opinion, I do think that the sales/donations would come in better if the prices were lowered some because I believe more people would be willing to give out smaller amounts for more Knuffels. For example, instead of one or two people donating $20 to pay for a Knuffel, 15 to 20 people might instead donate $5, a much smaller, more affordable amount. It would be a higher revenue."


5$ would be something I can spare. 38$ is not.


But that's just me. -shrug-

AS i already wrote, there must be More ways To donate, not everyone has a creditcard or PayPal or even Bank accounts!
Easier way To donate would be Better for students!

Pandemic, or anyone else for that matter. I know it may not be an ideal solution but you can get a reloadable credit card to link to PayPal. It would work the same as using a bank account or real credit card. It's actually safer then using using a real card or bank account in my opinion.

It's what I do (I use the one from Walmart) and it's great because even if something should happen and someone gets the info they won't get anything more then what you put on it. It's also an added plus if you tend to overspend because you can't, the transaction fails if you don't have enough on it.

I have used the gift cards to pay for things on paypal, just load it with the amount required. The company will give you a number and expiration date just like a credit/debt card. Once the amount is finished, just throw the card away. Many times I ask for those to be giving to me instead of real cash.

I still use snail mail and just pay a little extra to track it.
