Oh, interesting.

I tend to invest in more culture than religion in fiction (although I know they overlap sometimes).

What are the pooka, knight, and lady like? Why do they ally themselves with her?

Well, one thing I read last night was something along the lines of, "Evil does not exist for evil itself. Evil is often an attempt to pursue something good in the wrong way." Maybe that would be helpful for you to form your villain.

Nothing wrong with having Caucasian characters, of course. Even if something's mainstream doesn't mean it's bad. Just because something's uncommon or unique doesn't make it good either. And this applies to more than just appearances. Gotta throw it out there. XD

Mikael: Intersting :D Sounds nice (ouo)b

I absolutely love those combos. Quiet and best friend is loud hoho

Sometimes, I appreciate the mainstream white (or whatever the majority is) main characters. I need a break from those ones that are secretly powerful or good looking.

Candy: xD

Yeah, I definitely prescribe to "opposites attract", whether in platonic relationships or romantic ones. They just have more to work off of, IMO, without me having to put as much effort into working on the details. It flows out naturally.

Of course, there are always exceptions. (I have a constant need to point this out about everything.)

The last relationships I had with characters who were similar were with Ara and one of his sisters, and Ara and one of his friends. He and his little sister are both extroverted and talkative, so whenever they're together it's a lot of two of the same type working together to accomplish a goal. With his friend, regardless of their many similarities, they play off of what differences they do have. It's interesting to see how different perspectives can affect people of similar personalities.

Do you guys generally write for a certain personality type?

Aha, I generally dislike characters that are too powerful or good-looking because I feel like they're compensating for something or they're trying too hard. Not always the case, of course, but they do take longer to win me over, if they win me over at all. I'm definitely more of a softie for underdogs.

All good, there is an always exception xD

Now personality is something I try to have diversity in. But I guess I need more cunning ones...
Gender on the other hand... 99% are females because they're the ones I can draw >>;

Yea :x

Yes, agreed. My best buddy and I always chants "It depends." like it's our personal mantra.

Aha, when it comes to diversity, I don't have any non-binary OCs, and very few female characters. Side characters tend to be slightly more male than female, I think. Not sure.

I do attempt to have diverse personalities, but for some reason, I really enjoy working on characters who are more reserved in some aspects, even though the ones I enjoy writing are more outgoing. Maybe it's a conflict of desires and relatability.

Lol xD Yeah!

Do you prefer to draw male characters?

Perhaps. Are you more reserved?

Yes, yes I do. Mostly because trying to draw curves and breasts is difficult for me. XD

I'm both, I guess. Or rather, I'm awkwardly outgoing, but sometimes just withdrawn if I don't have time to recover from being out too much. It's an introvert thing.

Wbu?

Curves are so much easier for me orz More... freedom?

I feel xD I do think I'm more of an introvert. I just love spending time on my own... that's why I'm always at the 5th floor in the library, where it's the quietest and has least number of people

Aha, I can't really relate to that (about curves).

Yeah, same. I could live in a library. I practically did, in high school.

Well I usually don't touch on religion in stories either, but this time I decided to go outside my comfort zone.

The pooka is a mischievous pest, who tags along just to annoy Elly. The knight was just supposed to go see the queen of the land to marry her, (he doesn't know Ellyona is the "queen"*) and when she mentions that the monarch isn't there as she had just left "her" he goes to find the "queen". They come to the aid of the lady and she's infatuated with the knight and follows him around. The knight is full of himself and the lady is your stereotypical damsel in distress. So she's bossy and whinny.

*Inspired by my five year old who wants to be a king rather than a queen, I decided for Ellyona she's a king, which in her homeland is the highest gender neutral rank. So females can be kings and males can be queens. Depends on how they rank.

That would be great, if I could figure out what good thing done in a wrong way would be.

@ Nan. XD Hee!

I dunno if write for a certain personality type as I never notice. XD
