I didn't know you were white. I don't know what what anyone is here, really, unless they share their pictures (and even then, I sometimes forget). I think I only remember Firn and Moi.


I do both PoC and Caucasian OCs. My favorite OC looks more Indian, but my recent OC looks more Caucasian.

I guess it really does depend on the artist. Many of my OCs are Asian (most Korean) just because I am lol

Aye. I buy single portion salads that don't take much effort to mix.

By that logic, most of my characters should be Asian too, but I've only had one character who's Thai, and one who's part-Chinese, one who's Korean, and a partially Indian family. That may sound like a lot, but a lot of my characters are Caucasian and/or of fictional ethnicities.

Although my new OC is Caucasian, his best friend is Black. She (the friend) looks a lot more flashy than him with her colorful eye makeup and hair, but I really like the contrasts between them.

I bought an "organic" ranch some time ago, and I'm not sure if it's because it's kinda old or it's organic, it tastes weird... It's never been opened but it has been a couple months(?)

Probably because I grew up in the US where the majority of Hollywood stars are Caucasian. XD; Even a lot of my non-Caucasian OCs have grown up in the American culture (in modern stories), so they're pretty white-washed.

Oh, that's interesting! I don't have many Black OCs, which is why I made Cas' best friend Black. I wanted to work on getting more comfortable with writing for a larger variety of OCs.

Me too now that we're talking about it! I really don't understand why I don't have more white OCs. The inner me probably whispered that it's too mainstream?

Yeah, but for some reason I think certain ones expire more quickly than others.

Aha, I am like that about some other aspects of my characters. Like, having someone with too much talent or popularity. A lot of my characters tend to work better as wallflowers or in the "supporting roles" (as in like, they would be more of a side character type than a protagonist). There are always exceptions to the rules, however.

My current character is a bit of a wallflower type, but it's more of a personal choice for him. He doesn't want to stand out, and his personality and the way he presents himself represents that. His best friend is much more loud and flashy. XD I love it.

Technically my currant oc would be Arabic in this world, but our cultures and religions don't exist in this world, so I dunno what she'd be otherwise. You're just a person with a different skin color, eye color, hair color, height, weight. And and there's four religions and they tend to get along so yeah. I'm probably going to have a couple more religions, but I haven't worked that out yet.

Ellyona is a loner, but she ends up with a small group, a pooka, a knight and a lady. Elly's a queen, but she's on a personal quest to discover herself. Other than being a ruler and a sorceress. I have a villain! But I dunno what evil thing he's going to do. XD I fail at this. For some reason I don't have a solid story line for this. Which is weird for me, I usually have an idea.

@Nan. Totally too mainstream. lol Unfortunately most white people (me excluded) don't think a story is good unless the main character is white. I relate with the character based on who they are not how they look.
