The clock tower she mentions is also the tower mentioned in rumors about the city of Alajana’s Rest, where the ravens gather on top of the tower when a great hero dies. But, as mentioned before, the players can convince the hooded female to meet them elsewhere. They can of course also decide not to meet up with this woman at all, but then you as a DM will have to think of other ways in which the players can find out what the symbol belongs to, for example a bardic knowledge check should you have a bard present in your party. Anyone with knowledge history could in fact be able to identify the symbol, depending on where the PC came from.
As the group meets the hooded person again, she will introduce herself as Breca, an elven lady who has been living in the city for quite a while after abandoning a career as a bard. And as a former bard, she knows a few rumors related to the symbol. She will tell the symbol is that of the Cult of the Ilithiss, a cult that’s believed to be nothing more than a legend. And she heard whispers say it has something to do with the disappearance of Minas Gaci.
“We meet again. And I am glad you decided to come. Allow me to introduce myself. The name’s Breca. And I believe the symbol in your possession is of the Cult of the Ilithiss. Many believed this cult to be not much more than a legend. It possibly still is, and people just use this symbol to spread fear. But be wary, the few times this symbol has shown up throughout history, it seems to have brought nothing but bad luck. Whispers say it has something to do with the disappearance of Minas Gaci, a local nobleman. But nobody can say for sure.”
Asking around, players will find out that Minas Gaci was a rather young man when he heard of an item of great value that was buried near an old abandoned keep that once belonged to his family. He went out to find this item, and upon his return, he did behave a bit mysteriously. After three days he moved from the city to his family’s property outside of the walls. Mysterious lights and noises were reported by farmers who lived nearby, but after about another week, thing went quiet. Minas Gaci hasn’t been seen ever since.
Whoa! I'm working on a D&D quest and am organizing things in one document. Lots of text here...

o Both are channel patterns
o Meandering channel comprises a single channel/ thread; braided channel comprises multiple channels / threads
o DRAW SIMPLE DIAGRAMS
o Meandering channels have sinuousity index of >1.5; braided channels are less sinuous – 1.3 – 1.5
o Meandering channels associated with mixed load with higher proportion of clays and silts and some gravels; braided channels associated with coarser bedload – more pebbles and cobbles
o Meandering channels produce depositional features such as riffles at very specific parts of channels – riffles at crossovers and point bars on convex bank; braided channels deposit predominantly on the bed and produce numerous mid-channel bars
o Meandering channels tend to maintain width even as they migrate laterally; braided channels tend to become wider
o Meandering channels have gentler gradient while braided channels have steeper gradient
