I've heard people say that without religion, people wouldn't know right from wrong.
And I've seen people talk badly about others that don't believe in God.
Like how they're immoral and will go to Hell.
I forgot that when you stop a religion, you turn stupid and evil.
>__>

I had a really bad breakdown from my school and listening to other people.
I think some people should be charged or jailed for teaching people like that.
It causes a lot of damage.
I was in so much mental agony and I just wanted to die or never have existed in the first place.
So thank you, Christian school. You made me beg God to kill me and wished I never existed.

I've seen that sort of thing, too. and I've seen people who are atheists talk shit about people who choose to have a religion.

Personally? I don't believe in the "Hell" that most western religions swear exists and that if people don't follow certain rules, that they're destined for that.

And as a counter-argument to the "Without religion, people wouldn't know right from wrong" bit? That's not true at all. I know of plenty of atheists who know right from wrong, because their parents taught them how to be good people, and they later chose not to believe in a deity or deities. Case in point: Penn Jillette.

I agree Moi, things like that are messed up and I don't understand people half the time anymore.

Yesterday I read about a pride march that people holding their jewish flags were told to leave because of the whole Palestine thing going on... And I'm thinking they were stupid as hell for asking those people to leave when they were proud of their religion and celebrating who they are religious wise and them being gay as well. I just don't understand people half the time. I understand the whole Palestine thing is bad but these people were only showing their religion saying their religion supports them for who they are and I don't see a problem with that at all.

I've been reading a bunch of bs lately in the news like the whole fun new health care plan that I guess isn't going anywhere. I wonder why lol.

AutobotDen: It works both ways. People are so hostile.
I saw someone post that they'd pray for someone who was murdered and their family.
Someone basically said "You only pray to make yourself feel good! Prayer doesn't work! Why not actually do something instead!?" and caused an argument.
I saw no point in attacking someone for saying they'd pray for someone else.
They went completely out of their way to do it.
And I see so many people calling believers idiots and saying they have mental disorders because they believe in God.
I just don't see the point in doing that xD??

I've seen many descriptions of Hell. All from the same people who read the same bible.
One says it's a fiery pit where people are tortured for eternity. One says Hell is on earth and we're already in it. One says hell doesn't exist, but we all answer for our sins.

Yeah, I don't think people suddenly turn stupid and don't know not to murder someone xD

saiyouri: I think I saw about that. I'm pretty sure it's what you're talking about u8
But were they asked to leave because they weren't liked or because they might get hurt there?
I still can't get over homosexuality being listed the same as murder xD

Moi all I remember is it's just because they had the flags in their possession and they were told they can be considered to be triggers for people because of what is going on in Palestine. Nothing else was stated. Just that people might think they support the horrible things happening to the Palestine people. Not for any other reason which is what got me upset. I understand that bad things are happening to Palestines but not everyone is going to go around at a pride gathering and talk about something like that. I would assume people would go there and give the people shit for being gay and no other reason.

I saw a post protesting that, done by a Muslim group who happen to be LGBTIA* advocates, who had made a Pride flag representing their countries, and it basically boiled down to "So, you're banning the Jewish Pride flag. You'd better ban ours, too, in that case. You don't get to pick and choose who is 'Appropriately Gay'."

Reminds me of this man who had a "I stand with Israel" sign and some woman was attacking him for being a terrorist and approving or terrorism and blah blah blah.
The man's from Israel. He loves his country. He doesn't have to be pro-terrorism or anything bad.
I love Texas, they do shit I hate. But it's my home ._.

'Appropriately Gay'
>XD
I would not be surprised if that was soon to be a legit thing >>

Wow Moi that is really sucky. Sad how people have to be now a days. On our discord server, there is a guy who said in game chat with my husband "nigerian slaves", no idea what he meant though but then as soon as he said "muslims" hubby said 'woah woah woah'. He hasn't said anything since and no idea what the heck he was going to say or what he did say after the word muslims was said. That's all I remember. Too hard to hear one person out of 6 guys playing a game together all in voice chat.

I know some are bad but for christ sakes not everyone. Hell ran into a cop today and we spoke to him for a bit waiting for a store to open and he was talking about bad media press for them, no one is really taking the tests to become cops, how bad the herion problem is in the areas around us. He seemed nice. At least from when we spoke to him. Doesn't mean he's like everyone else and thats not something I will think just because he's a cop.

People do and say the most ignorant things these days.
I don't think they even listen to what they're saying xD

Such as this 18 year old was shot and killed because she tried to merge while someone else was.
So the guy took out a gun and shot her in the head and killed her.
People in the comment section were like "Maybe she cussed at him! Maybe she flipped him off!"
Because cussing and flipping someone off means you can legally and rightfully get shot and killed. >_>

Then there was a couple that attacked this woman and her daughter over chicken.
The woman owned a chicken place and the couple said their chicken was cold, so the woman gave them a refund.
But they didn't want just a refund, they wanted free food.
When the woman refused, the girlfriend started beating on her and when the woman's daughter came up to them, the boyfriend punched her in the face as they were leaving.
The daughter was FIFTEEN years old.
So the this huge man punched a CHILD in the face >__>
Over fucking chicken.
This is an image v
Spoiler

And I see people saying they hate racism, but then I see "That's white people for you! They all suck! Stupid white people! Fucking white privilege bitch gets her ass kicked!"
That's racism TOO.
>_>

Not all cops are bad. There seems to be more stories all over the internet about bad cops, and not enough about good cops.
There was a cop that helped my mom when he could have easily tossed her in jail.
He picked her up and took her to my granny's house so my granny could take care of her.
And I've seen cops that do their job right and are friendly and honest and kind.

My dad often told me that cops shoot as a very last resort.
And if they do shoot, they don't shoot to kill unless the person has a weapon.
Now all I see is "Well, he looked at me funny! -shoots-"
<___<
Cops are to PROTECT and SERVE. Not just shoot and ask questions later.
Or use unnecessary force.
Such as a bigass male cop slamming a tiny teen girl to the ground.
All that training and those muscles and you gotta slam a child down like a sack of potatoes >_>

I heard about those two stories. I couldn't believe the whole shot on a highway thing. I keep warning my husband to be careful because of road rage. And there are so many asses on the streets now a days. Thankfully we don't hear as much as we used to about road rage, but it's still a thing and I just don't understand why these losers still have a right to drive.

The whole food thing... I didn't read because the title sounded so stupid. Just... my god... stupid as hell.

I know what you mean about cops. Reminds me about an article I read a month ago about this one cop who responded to a call from a woman stating this guy had a gun, not loaded and wanted to die. Well he could tell that this man wanted to die badly and was willing to die by cop. He was talking him down but when another cop car comes up, he points his gun that isn't even loaded at them and they shoot him. He had the situation controlled but these guys just walk up and shoot according to the article. Thing is ... the good one... he was fired for not shooting the man and he's suing the police station (not sure what happened after he began the lawsuit, haven't heard a thing about that). He was really upset that a life was lost because no one seemed to want to calm this man down who was in a really bad place. He wanted the man to get the help he needed and couldn't understand why he was fired for not shooting him. He didn't want to hurt him.

Then another story that people had a field day over. A woman with mental problems, that the police knew about. Called saying she was robbed, they showed up but she had a knife pointed at them, and they didn't bring a taser at that time. She had 3 of her 4 kids in the house and shot and killed her. People were saying they had no right to kill this mentally distrubed woman. They should of left and been done with it... But barley anyone pointed out that she had her kids in the house with her and no cop can just leave her with a knife and innocent kids in the house alone. They bitched they should of brought a taser and just went on and on about how stupid and wrong they were. I was thinking the whole time that there were kids in the house and what would happen if they left with her in that state with a knife. I don't really care about them killing that woman. Only because of the fact she had 3 kids in the home. Yes she had mental problems, but kids in the house. Something could of went wrong. And they could of brought a taser but they didn't at that time.

There have been some cases of mentally disturbed people who have weapons and cops shot and killed and one at a Walmart, I felt bad that they killed the woman. Since she was really mental and had no idea what was going on. She was with her caretaker which means she can't be alone and care for herself, so she most likely had no idea what she was doing. That situation they could of tried a bit more to calm her and disarm her. It gets really complicated with people who have mental issues. Things always go wrong. And it's always sad too.
