What kind of stuff do you like? I know a lot of quirky places as well as more tourist-y things :3

All I know is that I do prefer activity-ish stuff rather than just sightseeing buildings etcetera. I'm too much of a "okay now I've seen it let's go" kind of person to be sightseeing. xD

The places for you to enjoy might be Shoreditch and Brick Lane then. It's a really vibrant and up-and-coming area. Lots of street art, lots of things going on, usually fairs and markets everywhere. The shops are all very unique. So you can wander around the area and keep moving, but see a lot. Also the restaurants and cafes here are the best. Not too expensive but tend to be cooler than elsewhere. My favourites are The Blues Kitchen and All Star Lanes, which is a restaurant with its own bowling alley XD I heard there's a mini golf restaurant around there too but I've never been. There's even a restaurant where you can only buy cereal, but they have every variety you can think of XD It's a weird but fun area.

Written down! I would also like advice on evening activities by the way, I've been to London once before (the big tourist visit where I went seeing the typical tourist stuff), but during the evenings we just ended up watching tv in our terrible hotel place.

Oooh okay. Well a lot of the theatres, especially the not so big ones (so think avoid The Lion King and stuff on that level) do day tickets that are really cheap. Do a search online for what will be on when you're here and see what time the box office opens. Get there about an hour before it opens, and queue up. I do this with my mum all the time as our girl's night out and we can get tickets for £10 or £15. Also I recommend going out to a place that has entertainment to enjoy after you eat. Like the Blues Kitchen I mentioned before, a lot of nights they will have live music starting from 10pm or so.

I almost forgot: Covent Garden is one of my favourite places as well, for shopping and just wandering around. There's an amazing restaurant there called Maxwells which pretty much originated the freakshake (a milkshake with a dessert stuck on top of it which is AWESOME). You could spend a long time at Maxwells haha.

Also go to Leicester Square at night. It's busy and cold but there are loads of street performers. If you're lucky with your times you can also see film premieres there. I once randomly went there and saw Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston on the red carpet :3

Ooh awesome, thanks a lot for the tips!

I doubt it'll be cold considering we go during summer, heh.

It will still be cold during the night :P You're lucky if it's warm in the daytime even in summer too. I wear a jumper pretty much year-round with the exception of a week or two around July/August.
