That's still very cool, it would be like a dream come true to find one of my Knuffel items on here!

I don't know if she tells you directly, but each of the wk items is named for the wild knuffel the design came from

So if there's an announcement about a new knuffel item release, check it out and see if the name of one of yours is on the list!

Working on a new Knuffel...
Does this look like it has enough
changes so far?

Oh yes, plenty. Rule of thumb is one more than the stage number.
So...
Stage one.
Stage two has three changes from stage one.
Stage three has four changes from stage two.
Stage four has five changes from stage three.
Stage five has six changes from stage four.

I feel incredibly inspired to make a wild knuffel (several, if I can!) but ...
Oh my gosh, it's so hard?
I'm so used to drawing on paper and if I could draw/color my knuffel on paper I would.
But the transition to digital would be rough, no doubt.
I don't own a tablet so I'm restricted to my mouse and I just ...
how did i ever make one, complete it, and submit a product i was content with?
Anyone have tips for using a mouse in Photoshop?
I'm not sure what tools are best or .. how to get the smoothest lines.
I'm sure it's all about practice and patience. ; u; ''

Oh goodness. A mouse? That's pretty tough. You might have easier time using vectors, though I personally have no experience with that.
But it's my understanding you can create a traditional media Knuffel, as long as the background is transparent. So maybe you could draw on paper and then scan that in and use a photo editing software to get rid of the background and save it with transparent background. If that's easier.

I have been wanting to experiment with different
pens and such in traditional art, so I may try that!
And yeah, when I had made a Knuffel, I was using a mouse with GIMP.
There are a lot of things I'd like to improve on, especially with making smoother lines,
so I may have to mess around a bit to try and achieve that even with a mouse.
Although, I might invest in a tablet when I have the chance. <:
Will definitely consider the scanning idea, though.
Thanks. ❤

I have a tablet but a lot of the time I don't bother to get it out because I use a mouse with the pen/paths tool in Photoshop. I don't know if Gimp has that but it's really useful for smooth lines. I use it to go over the lines I scanned in from paper, then it creates a path, then I use stroke path in a 3pt hard brush and it creates a line which is just as smooth as the original base. If I try to draw by mouse or tablet freehand it usually looks too wobbly XD

That's what I mean by vectors!
