From what I saw, he was on the phone with the company before they dragged him off.
He was saying he had to go on the flight because he had patients to tend to and he refused to give up his seat.
I think his daughter said they punctured his lung, damaged his sinuses, he lost two teeth, and such.

People were saying that he payed for his seat, and it's totally unacceptable and all kinds of outrage and no chill memes.
Their stock or whatever also plummeted.

I know this one video was like "He had his license suspended for obtaining drugs wrongfully and he plays POKER!!!"
Like that makes it okay for United to do that shit xD

Yeah, I've been following that. United has been awful lately. A couple of weeks ago they refused to let on some teenage girls because they were wearing leggings, they have higher rates of pet deaths than almost any other airline, and now this.

I see this as part of a systemic problems with airlines. In the last decade, the number of major airline operators has dropped from dozens to a couple. And they get away with murder. They abuse customers and have deplorable working conditions.

Anyway...I watched the press conference the man's lawyer gave. Learned 2 things...Number one, this guy came to America fleeing the Vietnam War and when he was attacked on the plane it triggered his PTSD. He also got a concussion.

And it's not just United either...United called in the Chicago police to remove the passenger. So the Chicago PD is also responsible for what happened.

Oh, yeah, I heard about the leggings thing.
People were like "Well, they have RULES you gotta follow the RULES."
I think it was shitty, either way.
I'm surprised they didn't drag them out too >__>

Oh, yeah, I heard that he was from Vietnam too.
I'm not surprised it triggered his PTSD.
I hope he can sue the shit out of them.

I also saw where an elderly woman with cancer got beaten with a hammer.
She said she was trying to help her coworker and she got beat really bad.
They didn't find the guy who did it, or at least not since I saw the video.
It ties in with my empathy thread because I think the person who did it, needs to be done the same.
It's like "But two wrongs don't make a right!"
I guarantee you, they beat the guy who did it with a hammer, he probably won't do it again xD
My mom once told me that a dog bit my grandma, and my grandma bit it back.
It didn't bite her ever again.
And if I did something and got a spanking, I didn't do it again xD
But someone was like "She chose to help the coworker, so she has no rigt to complain!"
Okay, well, when you need help, you can just be content that no one helped you since you said that ^ 8u

Wow. Just WOW. That poor man. I really hope something good comes out of this. I read through an article about United and it seemed like this person who wrote it was saying in a sense that people who work at airlines have to contend with alot of crap they can't handle and the customers are the ones I guess who push things too far. But no that man didn't push crap. Not his fault they are stupid and don't care about if they put other peoples lives in disarray because they put too many people on a plane and then expect others to move for their employees. I'm terrified of all forms of transportation. Planes especially with the whole height thing. Crap like this makes it even more evident that I will never see places in the world I might want to someday out of fear and how bad things have gotten with this crap. >.<

Not like this country has enough to contend with. The crap I'm reading about what's going on with the big baby and the bombs and China freaking out we might go to war. The least people can do is be kind and not abuse others.

I even read an article from somewhere forgot who wrote it. About a Saudi woman who wanted to be free from a arranged marriage and it happened in Australia. I guess some men came to the airport while she was screaming for help they duck taped her mouth (?) and hands and dragged her out. Someone in AU said that she is now home with her family but she was saying they were going to kill her and some woman posted a video of this Saudi woman talking about her plight on Facebook I think. No idea what else went on with it. That's all it pretty much said. I couldn't believe that if this woman in fact was begging for help to get away from her family; ended up being turned away and had to go home forceably and hopefully not killed but I know that's not a good thought because I know the opposite might of happened. Even read another article about some bs but I just forgot what it was. My mind is going to the crapper more lately ugh.

I hadn't heard about the thing in Australia, but here's a Snopes article about it. (Yay Snopes! I especially appreciate how they source their info, so you can go and check it out for yourself if you're curious) http://www.snopes.com/2017/04/12/save-dina-ali-lasloom/

Something interesting...we talked a few months ago about why the US hasn't labeled the Chinese government a currency manipulator in the past when Trump said during the campaign that he would do so. I suggested that the reason the US hasn't done that is because we need China's help with North Korea.

Well, according to the Washington Post, Trump has decided not to label China a currency manipulator because he needs China's help with North Korea.

I mean...duh.

LOL. I read that about Trump. I've been seeing more articles lately about China and N.K. And it seems people are writing articles about how we might end up in war with North Korea and that the choice to drop the bombs was bad. Even read something about Russia was going after Navy ships responsible for the Syria thing. And something about Japan freaking out I guess Russia was it might attack them or something about them worrying they might get attacked or something like that. Was a few days ago so I forgot what it really said.

No idea what's going on right now. Just we dropped bombs and people are upset and he did it because his stupid daughter told him too. Somethings about how his Mar a Lago place is crap (hit hard with violations for health codes) and how he's not even spending time in the WH during the weekends and how much cost it's costing the taxpayers. So much going on that it's hard to keep track of what is what now.

There is definitely a lot going on right now.

The situation with North Korea is very serious. North Korea is an extremely dangerous country (by North Korea I'm referring to the government, not the people--I think it's important to make that distinction) because they have a lot of weapons and their leader is unstable. The country has been the most isolated country on Earth for decades. Very little is known about daily life in North Korea, and most of what is known is gathered from the few people who manage to escape. Escaping is incredibly dangerous. I once read a story about a husband and wife who both decided, separately, to escape. But it was so dangerous they didn't dare tell anyone, not even each other. The husband escaped first, disappearing in the dead of the night, and the wife assumed he had been taken away by the government to an execution camp. She escaped a few years later. A few years later, husband and wife found each other at an event for North Korean refugees.

North Korea regularly threatens to attack the United States. It's not clear if they have the technology to actually do that. But they could certainly attack South Korea and Japan, which is something they also regularly threaten to do. This is especially dangerous because North Korea has some nuclear capabilities and an unknown quantity of chemical weapons. Should they actually attack, they could do terrible damage to the entire world.

Tensions have been rising in the region for awhile now. Japan and China squabble over islands and over China's practice of building new islands in the South China Sea. China and Japan both have difficult relations with South Korea, but very important economic ties. China is an authoritarian state that also oppresses its neighbors, sometimes by colonizing them, but also by encouraging instability. The Philipines are currently ruled by a dangerous mass murderer who is presiding over a state sanctioned slaughter of anyone suspected of using drugs. His name is Duterte. He resents China's control of the region and is sending war ships into disputed waters in order to be purposefully provocative. There are widespread religious and sectarian conflicts in places like Malaysia and Indonesia.

So, as you can see, it's an explosive situation.

I don't know what to expect. The international consensus has been to just manage the status quo for a long time. Usually North Korea makes a lot of empty threats and showy gestures around this time of year because it is the birthday of the nation's founder. But things have been escalating for awhile, like how the ruler of North Korea recently had his half-brother assassinated at an airport in Malaysia. And South Korea is especially vulnerable right now, having just impeached their president. And, of course, Trump doesn't understand the situation, has no respect for diplomacy and acts impulsively. And he seems to have learned that using the military will make the pundits on the news like him.

I've known how bad N.K. is for awhile but recently read a story about a woman who escaped and she talked bout how her father was arrested for selling something to China illegally they were dropped from middle class to the lowest. They barley had electricity (went out all the time) and no phones and she wasn't allowed to go to school anymore and marry out of her crap class. They had no food and her and her mother and sisters planned to escape one night; went to China and were sent back because they don't care and then escaped again separately. Mother and girls were reunited about several years later in South. I guess people there are constantly hungry from lack of food, only dances allowed are ones designed by the government, songs again only designed by government. She didn't know what people in America were like because they were taught how evil we are. Executions are mandatory. You have to attend them. In another article I saw that some people have to bike for hours to get to work so they are tired and hungry all the time. All in all, a poor craptastic hell hole. She even mentioned he murdered his brother and then rumors of his wife being killed from last year. China is a bad place because if it wasn't for them N.K. wouldn't have the stuff they do because of importing from China. China as well doesn't care about the innocent citizens there and just ships them back knowing how bad things will be for them. I was shocked to hear how bad things are for them right now.

Read in a different article that the head of Malaysia I think it was says that a rapist can marry his victim because it might be good for the girl (underage that is) to marry her rapist because it can heal her and they have a huge backlash from it now from people who don't want that since age to marry for girls is now 16 and boys is 18. And this article was referring to girls 12 and so.

And two days ago heard about here in Ohio a fucking guy posted a live video of him blowing the brains of a 79 yr old man just because his ex pissed him off. There is a multi state manhunt for him now and no one found him last I saw yesterday. He claims to of murdered 15 ppl total but police can only confirm the old man and found no one else. His friend said the man was always kind and never showed a sign of anger ever. Helped foster children and says that others are just a cry for help and he probably never killed them. >.< Never realized that Milwaukee and Madison were more safer than Ohio of all places. God even walked one night with a friend after midnight from a teen club to her place with the bloods and krips in town (Watertown) who were having a gang war at the moment of us walking. Didn't faze us at all and we knew they were there and they were around where we just left. Go fig Wisconsin is safe and we have to gang town there. Pft and Ohio is more screwed. Maybe if people cared that people here are bad and the police and apartment managers actually did there job we might not have the problems we do here. Like worrying what neighbor is doing pot to annoy my husband's heart and trigger my extreme hatred of drugs. >.< I just wish people would be nice and stop this crap to make life so much easier for everyone. But now we have to pay attention to news to find out how bad things might get with a moron in another country people hate with a passion and don't know that the citizens are pretty much brain washed so they know nothing at all.

Oh and the escapee from North Korea even said they don't have words for feelings. I guess their language in a sense is determined by the ruler who chooses what words there are in the language for people to express their feelings according to the woman.

The shooting in Cleveland was tragic. According to the AP, the shooter just committed suicide. A grim end to a senseless tragedy.

Well at least they got the moron. That whole thing was stupid. That guy deserves no sympathy for what he did just because he was pissed over his ex. No reason to kill an innocent person and brag he killed more. No matter what, no reason for any of it.
