Actually hes a cherub.

It's based on the original concept of the cherub (what everyone believes is a cherub now is a putti and isn't even an angel. Puttis are suppose to be a visual representation of a soul floating around in heaven.)

The best description of a cherub comes from the book of Ezekiel. Just because of how strange they are I found them to be rather fascinating. They are suppose to be a visual representation of power. Its the kings of the world of sorts: head of the king of world (man) king of the carnivores (lion) king of the herbivores (bull) and king of the sky (hawk or vulture) combined into one creature.
In christian mythos the cherub is ranked second in the order of angles, are often used for smiting people and are the ones that guard the gate to the garden of Eden.

@drowning: i just told tavis that i probably wouldn't make a succubus because i wouldn't get far from darkness gen 2, but now i know for sure i can scrap her xD
