A lot of times I won't buy items I don't like and then I'll kick myself later because someone else will want it. :P I could have made some FP, lol.

oh I've abandoned that hope a while ago. you never know how long you should wait, so all I do now is buy the sets if there's any item I like and sell the rest asap. if it doesn't sell a couple of times, I send it to my mule and it may be lying there forever till someone asks about it here. or never asks about it at all. but at least I have the item I liked. because just buying for the sake of selling proved discourageing for me. I'd much rather keep the fc for the things I enjoy. they don't come out of nowhere after all

Yeah, that's why I'm always really paranoid about spending FC. Especially since I don't get that many and making food is difficult for me.
Of course, sometimes that means I end up not buying items I would really like. >.< I usually only try to spend FC on a set where I like most of the items.
