So many things I didn't think about... I just want bf's name, I don't care about anything else xD I know my uncle has a son and I think he's married already... Not sure if they have kids or not x.x Hell, it's not my fault I was born a girl xD
My concern though, bf wants to change his name. Because right now he has his father's name and his father was a dick who got his mom preggers and after hearing she was pregnant he gave her money for abortion She bought a baby carriage Then next year his father got another woman pregnant, but he married her because she owned some land And his father never took any interest in him. He even kept the fact he existed hidden from his "marriage children". His son was pissed when he found out (jesus christ they look alike!), and his daughter couldn't stop staring. His wife was a total bitch though, and with very bad manners.
So for all that (and even not giving fuck about paying alimony since bf's mom died, what a prick) bf is thinking about changing his last name to his mom's maiden name.
But I got so used to his current name, and it sounds so nice Oh well, if he ever changes it, I'll live, right?

I think that's a good reason as to why your boyfriend would want to change his name. Tbh, I would too and I would've done it long ago if I had a father like that =_= He should take ... your name o3o I guess I'll ask Goose is he wants to take my name as a joke. I think I have asked him that before and he wasn't averse to the idea. In fact, he probably thought the alliteration was amusing.

Yeah, I agree. That's why if he ever decides on it, I won't be stopping him. But I don't think he'd want to take my name, though it would be amusing. My last name can literally mean "bass player" and bf loves music, and he used to play piano and all that. Though my last name is more amusing with my dad, he actually plays guitar and bass guitar XDD
But yeah, I don't think he'll take my name ^^; I don't know, maybe I've asked him before and he scowled at me XD

Mine's common in the US somehow. =/ I guess a lot of those with the same last name as me branched to the US.

That said, my grandmother's maiden name amuses me.

I meet/see people with my surname, but never written the same way as ours. I wonder if we have the same ancestors and our name was just transcribed differently when we moved to Germany... *thinks about this quite often actually*
