Wish I could play it. Ah well. I'm glad you can!

XD Yuuup. I need to go figure out something to eat soon. Other than the cough drop.

I have doll goals for 2025. one involves getting a Resinsoul Feng head for my big girl's body, and getting a body for the head that doesn't fit my girl's body. I'm also hoping I can actually finish a couple fabric dolls that've been sitting in the WIP pile for awhile, but I need more poly-fil for that. I also wanna get some fabric to make a couple of characters I really want 1/3 scale dolls of (plus at least one 1/6th scale doll to send to the Voice Actor of one of my favorite Fire Emblem Heroes characters. I suspect he (the VA) doesn't get a lot of gifts depicting the specific character I wanna make).

I also want to make room boxes/dioramas of my hometown in Victorian times, but that might be a future project. At the very least, I wanna print off a big map of the town so I can cut out all the spaces between the streets and parks, and then display the cutout piece on a colored piece of paper, and donate it to the local library. along with a papercraft of the USS Iowa. I also want to make a papercraft version of the SS Red Oak Victory, and donate that to the library as well.

... I'm gonna be so busy with craft stuff this year. lol

My doll goals are to get some naked ones dressed, and Comfort's head repaired the rest. And to not buy anymore. Oh, and to get more rehomed, and at least a few more of the ones that are staying out where I can see and play with them. But with how I have to save energy for work, I don't know how much of the goals will get done. I really miss crafting. About all I got done in 2024 that I can remember was to change UtterlyWeird dolly's head, and to make a little scrap doll out of bits that Comfort lost while I was at the Christmas market.

My big doll goals are less "This year" and more "Eventually, I want this". The fabric dolls are also on that list.

I've got crochet patterns for dollkids that I wanna make, but I also need to get the materials, and some patterns I want to buy this year as well. I'm hoping I can at least get the materials to make the gift for the voice actor and get that done and mailed off by the end of this year, but that's really my only doll-related goal of this year.

My main crafting goal this year is to finish at least three crochet and knitting projects this year, since I tend to start projects and then put them down when the dopamine hit wears off.

LOL How about the dolls you've said you were going to mail to me? I shouldn't tease. I know you have important things to do. Sorry.

I was hoping to get back to crochet during this break, but I'm not even sure I'll be done sleeping off the upper respiratory thing before the break ends.

Got a doll in the mail today, and one yesterday. The yesterday one I ordered after the today one, but he came from Canada. They both came from Ebay.

my blanket project is past half the length I want it (I want it at least 60 inches long, but I'm probably gonna end up making it as long as I am tall), and I need to figure out whether I have enough yarn or not to get to that point.

Doll-wise, I've got a paper dolls book coming either later today (8th) or tomorrow (9th). It's currently bouncing between Omaha and Des Moines. which is silly, imo, because Omaha's closer than Des Moines to me.

Long enough to pull it up over your head. I don't like my head covered, but I like the blanket long enough to do it. How about you?

Oi. Package pingpong.

I like it long enough to cover me head to toe and then some, so I have enough to tuck around my shoulders while still keeping my feet covered too.

The book arrived on the 8th, but it's missing a page, so I'm gonna get a new one either later this month or next month after another bag of pop cans is dropped off to be redeemed. Minor annoyance, but I do at least have images of the missing page's contents. Was planning on just copying the dolls and their dresses whenever I wanted to futz around with 'em, so I could send the book off to someone else in the future and not spoil their fun.

lol So we have similar blanket preferences.

Can't you get any sort of refund for getting a damaged item?

I like big blankets and I cannot lie. lol

The refund's not worth the hassle. Besides, I can get an uncut copy of the book for cheap, so I can get a replacement easily enough.
