I plan to RL rewards in there later... such as watching a (timeconsuming) movie, or an episode of something, or... sth similar.

I wanted to do so too but the problem is, I tend to relax much more than I can afford. so if I want to watch a movie I will watch it no matter if I have earned it or not. for that reason I deleted the rewards I made right at the start of getting to know habitrpg. it doesn't matter to me if I have earned enough gold in total, it matters if I have the time on the exact day. and if I do (no matter how many tasks are unchecked), I will spend the time on fun. it just doesn't work for me.
but what I thought of was reducing the time I spend distracted by making distraction a reward. I have "distraction from work" as a bad habit, so every time I catch myself browsing, scrolling or whatever, I click minus and lose health. what if instead I made a reward named "distraction from work" and had to click it? so I'd be losing money instead of health (or both?) and it would keep me further from collecting all the items I want! it wouldn't apply to the "free time", of course but work to keep me concentrated during the time when I really have to be working. so it can be used as a reward if I rationally choose to go on kofk instead of writing, or as a penalty if I accidentally get distracted.

damn I just googled "money penalty in habitrpg" and saw that such rewards for visiting procrastination sites are even mentioned in the habitrpg wiki under "rewards"
