It's another forum sort of game site; it's more active in French but it has an English/international translation part as well. But it's more pet collecting than avatar.
It has events, too, and each month a set of creatures and you can trade them, and I forget what all else.

ha ha ha, yes, that is always the risk.
Although if you're going to do it, joining during a winter event is probably smart, because it'd give you more to trade and start off with.

But, yeah, it's always a time sink to add a new site.

My french is pretty rusty - would you say it's possible to just interact with the english part of the site?

There are so many neat languages out there to learn, and never enough time to learn them all...

My older sister is fluent in French, so I just asked her whenever it came up. In fact most of us siblings tried not to duplicate languages too much, so that we could use each other as resource and not duplicate effort.

I did learn french in school for years, so while I probably wouldn't manage to write in it anymore, I can understand a lot of what I read, with looking up some words on the side. So that should be ok then...

But not tonight anymore, I was planning to go to bed earlier today to get my diurnal rythm back on track. I have to stand up early on wednesday and on friday as well (and on friday I shouldn't look too tired, since I will have a fotoshooting for my dad's christmas present - he wants a nice picture of me to hang on his wall).
