If you're asking how to get it, then by hitting level 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100. If you're asking why we're able to get it, it's probably because it'd be complicated to add that into the system again once the fighting system is up.

EDIT: btw, Reanna, my darkness knuffel just succeeded digging in the fire mountain, and if I'm calculating correctly, she got 19 exp for the success. O_O Oh and -27 energy and -19 happiness.
