Well, I read a lot in school, and only school, even if my family basically has its own library. I've run out of books, so in my spare time i doodle and draw c:

I read about a book a week. I used to read 2 a week, but I don't have the time for it anymore. I'm also working on a story of my own now.

It depends on how much time I have at the moment...
Normally I read a lot (2-3 books a week) and if I think, a book is really awesome I manage to finish it overnight :3

I probably average at about a book a month, due to getting hold of the books I'm after sometimes being tricky, though a fair few of the books I've been reading lately have been anthology republications of older books containing 2 novels and a novella in them...
...Unless you count RPG related books, then its closer to one a week than one a month.

I'm infamous for reading among my friends
I actually have a website that helps me keep track of my books
www.goodreads.com
I've only added real books to my list, and according to my list, I have read 1093 books (as of today), and 1101 books on my to-read list.
I'm a fast reader, so my number is steadly increasing lol
(7 Harry Potter books in a week! Whoo!)

I used to read all the time, several books a week sometimes!
Now, though, I have too much schoolwork, so I only read books required for school. :(
I'm also working on a book of my own, so that eats into any free time (Free time? What's that?) as well.

In a good week, I devour three or four books. At this point, though, I've got enough on my reading list to keep me busy till summer comes. I also make a habit of writing 750 words every day, as I intend to be a published author someday.
It's a tough balance some days, but I make it work. I love reading and writing; I just can't get enough of telling stories.

I don't really read books that often since only very few stuff seem to really keep me interested.
However, I do have my weekly dose of fanfictions from my favorite fanfiction authors as reading is really one of my favorite past times.

I'm an avid reader. Though I go through periods of time without turning a page, generally I read almost every week, every day or every other day. My best record of going through books was three young adult novels in three days, though sometimes when I book is only mildly interesting, I find myself browsing only through two or three chapters a day. I buy books around once a month or two months (though I bought over ten books in the last two months, so it really does depend on finance and opportunity); after I get them, I have go through them all so I feel like I didn't waste any money. XD; I also check books out from the library; once a week, if I don't have anything else on my list to read.
I think that was meant to be more than one crammed paragraph. o.o;;

I noticed just the same thing! Nobody I know reads, and the ones that do only do it because they feels stupid when they see me reading.... To answer the question, I read all the time. Once I finish a book, I scavenge for anther!

This isn't so funny when you're in college and you barely have the energy to do your school work. Oh well XD
