Somebody on YouTube is making a cosplay of the Critical Role faun female character.

I'm sitting here hugging a pig named Rejoice, who was named after the cashier that sold her to me.

Fearne Calloway. She's a riot in the early episodes....

Meanwhile I'm over here, as usual, up to my eyeballs in costuming projects... including my own faun character...

Yeah, her. Oh right, I forgot about that guy. Sorry about that.

The young cashier asked me when she saw me again if I had actually remembered her name and used it, and was tickled pink when I assured her that I had and that the pig is Somebody that even some of my friends know.

no worries. Not everyone knows Critical Role. :)

I've got hooves for my costume. and a yard of white faux fur for furry shorts.

I don't know why furry shorts seems so funny, when it's not. It's just costume stuff. Maybe my brain's rattled from TMJ pain.

Big Galeas says hi. Lots of hi. He's really going.

I mean, furry shorts are pretty funny as an idea. I've finished a belt pouch, the belt, and the horns for the costume. Now I'm working on a cover for an old hardcover I'll be sacrificing (we have a second copy in better condition) to hide my phone in so I can maintain the illusion of being a fantasy creature at the Renn Faire.

LOL! Okay.
Are you making it one of those books that they hung from their belts with a knot?

He just went and lay down on his bed, then did his explosion of excitement. That way nobody had to tuck him in bed afterward.

I found leak proof underpants! And some of them are bike shorts! Sooooo happy.

I should. That'd just add to the aesthetics. I actually ended up making a belt and pouch for my phone, and now I'm just making details to add to said belt. I started with the belt base here, and have just been winging it so far. also made a mushroom pouch, using the pattern I found here. The peeps I'mma be meeting up at the Renn Faire in September with want to do a mostly mushroom theme, so that's my nod to it.

Aww, smart kiddo.

If they're the brand I'm thinking of, they're good quality. :)

Yeah, it would have been neat, but the mushroom pouch is neat too!

Yeah. He's learning to deal with what he's been dealt. He's also currently pretending to be buried in younger siblings, but four little lu don't cover that much on a bot his size.

The best brand that I've actually gotten in hand is CaroQuilla, they're made from bamboo based stuff and are really soft and comfy. The other brand I've got in hand is Hanes. The shorts are Knix, but they're still in the mail. I just wish that most leak proof pants weren't black. Black is an okay colour, but not all my dresses need shorts under them, and black can show through.

I might still make the book knot thing... trying to work a bone hairpin I got into the design somehow currently, as I don't wanna try and use it in my hair and have it break trying to contain my hair.

Learning how to handle what you're dealt is a good skill to have. And eeee, fuzzy babies!

As for the boonies... I can't really comment on the color, as I just get whatever boonies fit me. I usually opt for the microfiber variety, as that variety is honestly more comfortable to me.
