With me, despite my parents being addicts and not being the way a parent should have been - they're good people and I love them.
I have always wanted them in my life and I've never been apart from them except when my dad moved to Florida for a bit.
My mom does everything for me. I can't cook, I can't drive, I can't remember shit...She does it all for me. What will I do when she's gone? I can learn these things, but to be honest...I don't think I should drive.
Every time I say that, people roll their eyes like I'm just putting it off because I don't wanna learn.
I randomly zone out a lot. I'm not aware of anything or anyone around me.
I'm just...unconscious while conscious. Can you imagine what would happen if I did that while driving?

Ah, autopilot. An excellent way to fuck shit up
It makes sense to me. I'm only learning out of necessity

Yeah, I guess you could call it autopilot, but I don't...do anything. I just sit and stare blankly. It's not like I'm so into a routine that I do it without noticing.
Autopilot does happen pretty often when I take my medication. I will go through the physical action of taking them out, opening the bottles, getting the pills, swallowing them, putting the lid back on the bottles, and putting them back up.
A little while later, I'll say "Did I take my medication? I don't remember..."
This one time I got a Starbucks bottle of coffee from the store and I sat down and started to open it when I saw the seal was gone. I couldn't remember if I took it off or not. I had to ask my mom if it came with one because I couldn't remember ._.
This one time, we were going to Walmart and I was looking around and said "Do we always go this way?" and my mom said "Yes. What do you do when we leave the house >8U"
I zone out uB
I don't know what's wrong with me. I do know I have had sleep apnea for who knows how long and I don't sleep good.
I even asked my doctor if the years of me not breathing could cause brain damage over time and he said it was possible.
I zone out, I forget stuff almost immediately, and I have issues forming sentences.
I also think I may have Fibromyalgia and it's brain fog I'm experiencing.
I just know it's not normal for me to be like this.
I definitely don't think I should be driving.

Yeah, if you think it's unsafe for you to drive don't drive
They changed giving results protocol
No longer immediate. Gotta wait until a time and then can find out

Before COVID got bad, I was talking to my therapist.
I told him I've gotten more reclusive and I never want to get out.
He told me "Then don't go out 8U"
He said unless it's a serious matter, then I have the right to stay home xD
Protocol 8u?
I just realized I rarely see that word .__.

It's barely used lol
So it was, until recently, we got our results immediately. Now we wait until a set time in the afternoon and get our rests from a website

It's too big and fancy of a word for people like me 8,u
So is it a good or bad thing? Typically having to wait for information is obnoxious.

Considering hitting the curb on the parallel park turned out to still be an auto fail, and not no longer one like mom thought, it merely delayed the yelling
So
Uh
Kinda both

I've never even tried to parallel park ._.
I've only parked in a wide open space and in my driveway.
My mom manages to squeeze through cars and parallel park easily 8u

Yeah it's a required thing in the driving test
Which more and more people are finding ridiculous. Fewer and fewer are needing to actually know how, so it's becoming more obsolete, especially as technology improves to where there will be self driving cars on the road in ten years or something and people driven ones will slowly phase out
Gah
